ascho Posted August 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2019 What is the difference between C1, C2 and C3?
Rare ghstudio Posted August 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2019 C2 and C3 cabins are identical, just location on the ship. C1 cabins are generally facing aft and have a larger balcony.....better view of the sea (if you like looking back), but the cabin itself is the same size as C2 and C3. You also may feel more ship movement if your cabin is way in the back of the ship...it's a trade off that only matters if you hit rough seas. We prefer C3 for location in particular deck 10 because you have cabins below and above. strictly personal preference, we have never had aft cabin so can’t compare. goofysmom99 Posted August 2, 2019 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2019 On S-class, first and third cabins on the front or back of the hump (C2 on Deck 9 and up) have the longest balconies and best locations, IMO. Second and fourth cabins are longer, but not as long as 1st and 3rd. Close to elevators, mid ship, covered or sun, mostly protected in weather, and room for a lounger if you ask. If you're a Captain's Club member, you can automatically upgrade to C2 cabin at a C3 fare; however, C1 cabins cannot be upgraded from a C2 fare. C1 fares are C1 fares. dani negreanu Posted August 2, 2019 #10 Share Posted August 2, 2019 I much prefer the C2 locations than the C1 ones. Besides, there're more expensive. We had 1132 on our last Reflection cruise, it was an excellent location - quiet, but close to the elevators/stairs, and the balcony was huge. NCteacherlovescruising Posted August 2, 2019 #11 Share Posted August 2, 2019 We have a C2 on our upcoming cruise, midship 8th floor. I think we will love the location!

Going on our first Celebrity cruise next month and have one of those longest balconies ( deck 10 ) so I am excited about that ! Plus being midship is great also.
