Drink Package Activation?

Hi. Not a first time cruiser but new to RCI. 

 

We're sailing on Allure next week and have purchased the deluxe drink package. 

 

My question is, once onboard what do we need to do or where do we need to go to activate the package? I'm guessing like most lines, RCI does some kind of sticker, hole punch, or card so staff will know what gets charged?

It should be printed on your seapass card.  Letters are DX for Deluxe. 
Take your paper confirmation of the purchase too, just in case, and then GR can reprint your card if not.

No activation required. We were on Allure two weeks ago.

Until you get your sea pass card your boarding pass will suffice. No issues whatsoever.

The sea pass also states you have the deluxe package too.

Enjoy the drinks. We certainly had our money's worth many times over!

You don't need to do anything, it is tied to your Seapass card/account.

BTW, if it not on your card, when you go to Guest Services, they will just put a sticker on your card.  Just like if you purchase the package on board.

I would suggest early and frequent testing of the packages activation, especially on the pool deck.

 

Frequent quality control is critical for the enjoyment of the package.

I've always head to the closest bar ... slam my sea pass card down on the bar and say at the top of my voice "Activation Engaged!! "

We're sailing with my folks and after i saw everybody's responses, i texted my mom & told her to reprint her and dad's boarding passes & explained why.

 

Mom's reply was, "Ok. We printed it twice so now we can drink twice as much!"  Lol.

 

All i could picture was that commercial with the old lady posting pics to her physical wall

 

Needless to say, I think we'll be getting our money's worth 😂😂

On the second day and the last evening, just check your sea pass account.  Although we've had the drink package, one or two drinks seem to slip in.  Easy to correct but you want to check before the last day to avoid lining up a Guest Services.

I check our account every day, I find it easier to keep track of purchases

No kiosks on RC.  TV (newer ships), GS, or app (on supported ships).
