We also JUST got the "things you should know before cruising" email too lol. Waiting for that official press release has me refreshing every minute!

Just finally heard back from cruise rep and he says they have not heard anything internally about carnival canceling......what a mess! I don’t want a cruise credit..I just want to cancel and get reimbursed from my travel insurance.

The other lines all announced earlier today. Makes me wonder if he's mixed up Princess with Carnival since it's the same parent company. No official word from Carnival. What a mess.

Doesn't mean it's wrong. He named the other lines that have already announced they are shutting down. Carnival probably just didn't have a press release ready yet.
