I just booked apex for April 2021 is she built and ready to go or is there a delay in the ship yard did I book to soon with covid ? Thanks

She's all built and ready and unfortunately  ALREADY HAD COVID-19  cases on board. Having said that as long as there are no longer major Covid-19 issues your sailing shouldn't be an issue. I actually have a cruise booked on her for November 14th and I'm just watching as to what's going on with all of this.

No sailings until COVID is gone.  Why would Celebrity or any other company risk getting everyone home by private transport?  I heard estimate of $120 Million.  Remember this is door to door and impossible today without borders opening.

We have May 2021 booked and think we have a slim chance of sailing.  Hope I’m wrong and it’s a 100% go.

Our Apex sailing is next May 1 and we have the same concern. Fingers crossed.

Apex is ready and waiting for passengers while she's docked in St. Nazaire, France, due to the cessation of cruises.
Our Apex TA for October 2020 is still a go, and we will not be canceling.

I can't see why there is any concern that she won't be sailing in the Spring of 2021.

That is just my opinion, as I understand that many will choose not to cruise, but others will.

X has reported that bookings are actually up for 2021 and 2022.

I would love to book a cruise on her.

Here's my problem.  If I book and the cruise is cancelled, I'll probably have to jump through hoops again just like I just did to get my money back.

If things are looking better by next March or April I'll book closer to sail date, after final payment.

Now if they were offering $10 (LOL, I know) deposits, I would book.

I'm booked for March, 2021 and hoping it's a go. I'm ready, to say the least.

Booked (instead of the April 1st, 2020 cancelled cruise) for May 27th, 2021.

I'm really keen to be on this ship, and the itinerary is lovely.

She has been delivered to Celebrity already, why should she be not ready in one year??

Apex is ready, but the question is will cruising in general be ready.  We just do not know as this point.
