I don't have many Q's so I thought I'd include this.

This is the day that Queen Elizabeth came into Southampton for the first time  on October 8th 2010 prior to her Maiden.

We were waiting to disembark from Ventura when she came in. P&O gave out flags to wave.

Our first cruise was on Arcadia, Canaries cruise, December 2020  and during the captain's interview he said it was his last time on Arcadia as he would be leaving to captain Queen Elizabeth. I wish I could remember his name. Can anyone help. He was a wonderful captain, full of fun, very friendly and joined in a lot of events.

Q has been 'quite' a challenge but, once again, the posters have been very creative.

I'll start my contribution with pictures of Quokkas. These cute little creatures are sometimes called Scrub Wallabies because they hop around but they are not related. Quokkas are only found on Rottnest Island which is situated off the coast of Fremantle, Western Australia. We took the ferry across and had a wonderful day there and were very lucky to see some Quokkas because they are generally nocturnal animals.

Michelle and I were wondering what today's bird(s) would be and both said "Q is for...Quail" at the same time!

My attention was immediately drawn to her "swan neck" and I wondered if the sculpture was truly lifelike? Turns out it is:

That's so funny because I did EXACTLY the same thing standing in front of the statue! The necklaces must have been incredibly constricting, along with all the boned undergarments that they wore in those days.
