2020 I cry uncle. First the cruise was stopped in March,  lost several people to the virus, then toady found a leak in the toilet that ruined carpet and dresser.  Sigh, I’m going to consume this and more.

I am so sorry. Sending hugs & good wishes your way.

It's not a HAL cruise, but I just booked a harbor/Christmas lights cruise out of Punta Gorda for December.  It's hubby's birthday gift.  At least we will be on the water.

Small victories.

Anyone want a 95 lb Dogue du Bordeaux?.... I love her, but my dogs would not be happy and she is really too much dog for me to handle on a daily basis.  Hard dog to place but we will find a home for her I know.

Susan

I would be so tempted.  Marley weighs more than that and Miko although less in weight is one strong dog.

I wish I could help but with you in the U.S., it gets really complicated.

They are beautiful dogs and I hope that you can find a forever home for your beauty.

They all deserve it ❤️

Thank you for the Daily, Rich.  Like the collection of days, the detail maps, and the quote.  Chicken Florentine sounds great, while my alternative menu suggestion is Honey Pineapple Plate, Baked Ricotta Stuffed Shells, and Black Forest Cake as served on the Prinsendam November 3, 2017.

.What a combination of days.  I love a good sandwich but really dislike the term “housewife”, sorry.  Back in my working days, I never asked if someone was a housewife or a househusband (yes, they do exist).  I asked if they worked in or outside of the home.  That’s trickier these days with so many working from home 😉

I always call myself a "Home Executive".

No, I mis-typed.  That actor has been dead for some time.  It was Eddie Hassell, and he was quite young.

Roy

I bet that was auto correct, Roy and not your fault 😉

It’ happened to me a few time.

Good Tuesday morning.  I will be happy when today is over!!  Interesting mix of days, and the quote is something to think about. We have another week before we can use our pool.  Still getting refinishing material to come off the walls.

Sazerac cocktail:

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Rye whiskey or Cognac, 1/4 oz Absinthe, One sugar cube, Three dashes Peychaud's Bitters
Preparation: Rinse a chilled old-fashioned glass with the absinthe, add crushed ice and set it aside. Stir the remaining ingredients over ice and set it aside. Discard the ice and any excess absinthe from the prepared glass, and strain the drink into the glass. Add the Lemon peel for garnish.
Served: Straight up; without ice
Standard garnish: Lemon peel

Prayers and congratulations to all of us.
Stay safe, social distance, and wear your mask.

Thanks for the recipe; this is one of my favorite cocktails! Unfortunately, it is hard to order in a bar, unless they have it as a "special". Most don't have the absinthe on hand....🙁

Might have to try and find some absinthe ourselves, so I can have one at home; my husband is a very good bartender--IF he has the correct ingredients. I also like rye, too, but I guess it can be made with cognac, also, per the recipe.
