So I've heard.  I'm not driving there, though. 😳

Me either, though I do hope to one of these days.  Maybe in conjunction with a cruise from South Florida

Near Sandbar by any chance?  We were there for Taco Tuesday yesterday.  😍

Tell us about Sandbar, we have a B2B in February. Is this a local hangout we should check out pre cruise. 😁

Beach bar near the Ron Jon area

Well known for live music and home of the fish taco.

Where 520 meets the beach is another slogan.

Kinda pricey unlessvyou take advantage ofva special. Taco Tuesday is the best. Half price tacos and drafts

We've stayed at Jetty Park in our camping trailer several times just so we can watch the ships come and go from Pt Canaveral.  It was better being on the Anthem of the Seas last year (January 2020) and going past Jetty Park than watching from the shore.  Sure miss that......

With all the ships in that area maybe they have crew boarding from various flights as well as getting them vaccinated.     Has anyone heard which vaccine that are giving the crew?

News said they received the J&J single shot!

No, missed it. Was it packed?

We live between Double tree and Hilton

It was definitely busy!  We got there early, around 4:30 and there were only a couple tables available then - both bars were full.  We've been to the tiki bar at the Hilton a few times, not much recently though.

(I may have quoted the wrong post here.)  We LOVE Sandbar in Key West - we'll be there in a couple weeks.  It's only a six hour drive from Cape Canaveral to Key West and we drive there often.

Sandbar has great specials!  Mexican Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, etc. - their menu is online with prices.  I don't think they're too bad but they also offer a locals discount.

I just found out Adventure should arrive tomorrow morning and will be here until Saturday afternoon and Explorer will be back on Saturday morning - so both will be in port at the same time!

I wonder where EX will tie up?

Sorry that you are having the same problem, I was beginning to think that it was just me. I have been vaccinated too.  There must be a conspiracy!!!

Spoke too soon. I can see the pics the 2nd time around,

We were just in Cape Canaveral all last week and saw just one Disney ship bobbing along out there off the beach all week ..  and the Carnival Liberty that came in and out once.

Sounds like we missed all the fun this week .. would have loved to see Explorer.  We had a great cruise on here a few yrs ago.
