The Real Food of Royal Caribbean😉

Recommended Posts

My mobility is too bad to do galley tours any more. They always fascinated me.

My first one was on board  Stella Solaris on a Med cruise.
Only two of us showed up for the tour.
At the end of it, they had prepared a large tray of baklava for us.
I like it, I really do, but can anyone eat more than one?

Does anyone else feel guilty when a lovely spread is prepared for them and you just can’t do it justice?

If we start running low on on-board pics, would it be OK to post Royal Caribbean-Related food pics such as this one from a Salmon bake on a shore excursion in Alaska?

Of course it is ok unlike a certain poster who just comes here to troll and make a nuisance of herself. Delicious looking salmon bake btw.

Just the other day I was just thinking about the one we went to in Juneau in the fall of 2019 - so good!

Some snacks that were in our cabin on embarkation day.

We also had a sail away party with folks we met on CC over the years and had cruised with before.

Chops Seafood tower, some meat planks from Jamie’s, along with guacamole/salsa and chips.  We washed it down with some drinks too.

Since we had some cake photos earlier… we had this cake waiting in our room one night upon our return. We devoured it when we found it at 1am when we returned to our cabin. It, and the pizza we had a couple minutes earlier helped to absorb some of the alcohol.

Removed my comment based on something you said in another thread.  That is a start, Bee, and really all anyone is asking that you do.  Just be open to all the dining options on Royal and realize that just maybe your dining experience did not give you the whole picture.  You are welcome to have a different opinion, but it's not necessary to constantly bash the cruise line for it.

Honestly, jk04, it's been a couple years since I've been on Royal and maybe I was too HARSH on the buffet! And yes I saw stuff that looked like "slop" but other stuff was really fine. Sort of our fault for only trying Johnny Rockets and I ADMIT that. but please never ignore that most of the winter cruises before sailing stopped complained about food too  - they piss me off, honestly.

Seriously seeing some of this special dining has changed my perspective MUCH! My best advice to new cruisers is to seriously start splurging extra for the upcharge places (NOT JR and mostly if you don't' love all the free stuff) and yes they probably have more of what you want.
