First up, Empress of the Seas, summer 2019

 

Honestly, this looks better than it tastes. 

 

Many folks think she had one of the nicest Chop's in the fleet. I would agree. Probably because it was the only game in town

 

Berkshire Pork Belly

 

Colossal Shrimp Cocktail

 

This might be the mushroom soup. The oil slick on top is probably truffle oil. Not a fan

 

Goat cheese salad is good, but I don't eat the goat cheese. Big fan of the craisins and apples

 

MMMMMM, beef. Ribeye, I think.

 

Who doesn't love lamb, so tasty with a little rosemary

 

An attempt at a banana split. I'll have a more traditional one later

 

Oddly enough, I don't see mac n cheese. I know we had it, I even met the chef who makes it during galley tour. 

 

Hopefully we'll find it on another ship. Pure awesomeness. SERRIOUSLY😉

I will say I rarely take pictures since it's generally busy, but I do snap a few at the table

 

Laura's chicken stir fry. Not very creative, pretty much just peppers and onions

 

John's beef stir fry. Apparently I'm less creative. Typically I head to salad bar and find more things to add. And no rice for some reason. Strange

 

Pizza anyone?  No pizzeria on Empress 😢

Decent for WJ, though

 

Grazing at the salad bar. Sometimes I just like to taste things since I eat and drink all day

Love it - we needed a REAL food thread, after all those fake food threads!  I’ll be sure to take lots of food pics on my Navigator sailing in September (if it sails - fingers crossed).

It tasted fine, I will say that for it

We were right above the Captains Table I mentioned earlier

 

Caprese Salad is always great

 

Coconut Shrimp

 

Poblano Soup. This one just looks better

Teriyaki chicken wings. 

 

Shrimp Rissotto. Mmmmm

 

Baby lobster tails.

 

Prime Rib, nice and rare

 

Apple purse pie is a big improvement over the slices they used to serve

Look what I found. Mac n Cheese😁

 

They also serve a nice breakfast for Suites, Pins, and D+

 

 

 

Lot's of omelets were ordered. Typically I do egg white. They're smaller
