All aboard is noon.  Weather has been great.  It’s not even sweltering hot. But, I think Capt’n Kate is trying to skirt the storms.

Be interesting how she does it. It is hurricane season and when we sail on the 28th I am sure something will be brewing.

When in the South Pacific a couple of years ago sailing back to Australia we went through a cyclone (AKA Hurricane) was on RCCL Explorer and had no issues. I am sure there is a lot to partake in on the Edge during the day. Can just chill in the Retreat, I guess.

Cheers!

Nice to see you back on board. You said you haven't seen any kids. Do you know the sailing capacity for this week?

Not anything official.  One of the concierges said it‘s a 1:1 crew/passenger ratio.  900?  1,000?  1,100?

Did see a kid today. Wearing a mask.  Maybe 10 years old?

VERY wide spread age group on board.  20s to 80s, I would imagine.

Not crowded (yay).  Guessing it’s roughly 40%-50% capacity??????  Give or take 10%???????  ½ the time I’m the only one in the elevators.

I know this isn’t going to last.  Enjoying it while it lasts, though.

Other anomalies…..haven’t seen any scooters or walkers yet.

One of the nice things about sailing a ship more than once (and I’d venture to say the EDGE is one of the most beautiful ships I’ve sailed), is you find more nooks and crannies that you didn’t know about…

I had lunch at the little deli behind the EDEN bar.  What a wonderful find. And, to be able to have lunch outside the deli area is just a great way to leave a port…….

Be safe though I really enjoy a bit of rocking and rolling

It’s all good.  Ship is stable as a rock.  Different experience out on the balcony, though.  Good thing I’m still wearing my swim trunks! 😉

Rockin’ and Rollin’ is a good thing!

Chef’s Table is Tuesday.  Book in advance as there are only 10 slots.

But, I have heard from more than one person on my last cruise that it wasn’t worth it.  Then again, some loved it.  Mixed reviews!!!!

Thanks. We are big foodies so we are still doing it. I will post a report in September.

Be safe and have fun. Thanks for bringing us along!
