On the breeze last month they were still attaching the card. After the first day, I learned it was in the system, the card isn’t necessary.

On Horizon in July they attached the card, too. I did decide it was faster and cheaper for me to take a break and buy an occasional drink at a bar. I would lose when waiting for a drink and tended to win when not.

Good point. I plan on only using this when im at roulette. Usually i can stay longer there than slots or blackjack

Is it just he person who got the offer Or do both people in the cabin get the drinks while playing in the casino?

The offer should clearly state for you or for you and companion. Some couples have received separate offers that were only valid for the named guest; however, a call or visit to the casino and they were able to both receive the perk even though they booked under one of their offers.

Add: casino should be aware of both offers but you may want to bring proof if you don't call ahead.

How do they know we get free drinks while playing? Do they put a sticker on our card like bubbles has? I don’t see anything on my booking   Now that says we get them but I did book a casino special

Just off Miracle that was a Premier Casino cruise, in my room on embarkation was a lanyard and attached was a insert for my S&S card which also had in it a Drinks on us card

Just off Magic yesterday. First, my Drinks On Us offer did not show up on any of my paperwork so I called Players Club before we left to see what my offer was. We both had drinks on us in the casino. After dinner first night, went to the wonderful smoke free casino and checked with the host. She said no cards anymore, it’s automatically in your account info. While there we asked about the free fun play all platinum and Diamond guests get, and that’s added to your account. Ordering drinks didn’t take long at all.

As someone else said " No sticker, no attached card anymore.  It’s in the system and automatically shows up when you order a drink". We were on the Horizon 9/21/2021 cruise and that's the way it was. Drinks were slow getting even when tipping

How much do you have to spend in the casino to receive DOU offer?

I limit myself to $100 a night.  I have been getting all kinds of offers daily with everything from free room, free WiFi, free DOU in the casino, Free DOU everywhere on the ship, Cruise cash, Reduced rates, etc.

I think at this point, if you are in their system as a gambler, and haven't got a cruise booked, they'll offer you anything to get you to book.

99% of the time it is for the person that got the offer.  in our case both my wife and i had the offer on our "offers" page so our PVP said we both got it as we did in july on horizon.

if my wife is standing with me while i'm playing craps (and she's not playing) or i'm watching her play slots they will give both of us our drinks.  we don't both have to be playing.  the servers don't really care as long as you tip them :)

Consider yourself lucky to get any kind of free room offer! I pretty much gamble what you do. In 33 cruises I’ve never been offered a free room! I do get casino offers for money off, low deposits, a little OBC and sometimes free drinks on us (especially now that we hardly drink, lol) sometimes just me sometimes me and companion.  I think once carnival knows you’re going to keep booking, they don’t offer much, but if you seldom cruise, an example is my grandson and wife have cruised 3 times, his last offer was $700 obc, free drinks on us for both and casino rate. He paid just over $600 for a balcony room on Deck 7, I paid $940 for the room next door!  You just never know, it’s a crap shoot!
