Folks, Here’s the Deal: Zero people in line to board. ZERO. Betting Pool sez 500 on board. I will say 600. AZIPOD issue: They are working on it. Seems to be an above water Electronic circuit issue. Intending to sail away on tine. We’ll see…. Later.

Evidently the Nieuw Amsterdam is heading for Port Everglades, I'd be interested to know if they are transferring any covid-positive staff from your ship to her.  If you notice anything going on, please let us know.  (around 5:30)...

Indeed. It’s not a Sh**tshow. It has, however, somewhat of a funereal wake vibe. We are ONLY people at the Billboard except for holdovers from last week. Treated like ROYALTY!! Free booze..

Duct tape and WD-40 must not have done the trick in fixing whatever needs to be fixed.

 

But, most importantly, will the free booze continue because of this "great disappointment"?

To answer the previous question about crew transfers, they sent a tender of crew over to the Amsterdam around 8am while we were still on board this morning. Not sure how many. They actually made an announcement asking all crew transferring to proceed to the tender platform.

We were on the Eurodam Jan. 16 - 26, 2022.  Our cruise left Ft. Lauderdale approximately 3 hours later than planned and our ship had approximately 580 passengers.  It was like cruising on a huge private yacht!  We had no lines anywhere!  The dining room and the Lido buffet had empty tables everywhere.  The Mainstage was always empty with plenty of seats available.  It was unbelievable!!!  It was also sort of sad!  Hopefully our next cruise (Volendam out of Rotterdam on July 31).
