I joined this forum a few years ago, we booked our cruise in 2018 for summer 2020 but then covid happened so we’ve only just got on our first cruise. So yes I’ve been on here quite a while, learning the cruising ropes so to speak 😊

The infinity pools do look good, I’ve not tried one yet. At least at 6:30am there was no one in it so I could get some photos. There were a few hot tubs being used very early 😳

Rare SarahHben Posted May 24, 2022 Author #63 Share Posted May 24, 2022 Dinner at Sindhu was very good, our favourite meal of the holiday so far. I ordered a passionstar martini, I’ve not had one before, it came in 2 glasses and I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to mix them or drink separately so I text my son-in-law who used to be a bar man. I had crab tian for starter and Sindhu Signature plate for main, which was duck, beef & lobster in various sauces with rices and salads and a bhaji. Dessert was a deconstructed trifle, lemon posset, passion fruit jelly & coconut ice cream (I think I’ve remembered that right) We then met up with my family and went to the theatre to see Odyseey, a fantastic vocal group, we’ve booked to see them again on Friday. After that we went up to the SkyDome to see what the Paloma Faith tribute singer was like, that was the only thing we’ve comes across that we didn’t enjoy. We stayed 10 minutes then left, it was a bit screechy for us. Early night for me after my early start this morning.

It all looks very nice and very different from when Atol Kochar was ‘in charge’ of Sindhu.
lincslady Posted May 25, 2022 #66 Share Posted May 25, 2022 That main dish looks enormous, Sarah - but no doubt delicious. (A bit like some of Graham's!) In what way 'different' to when Atol Kuchar was in charge? Better, worse or just different?

Should they be mixed before drinking or kept separate? Not had one before either but we might. We’ve booked Sindhu for Thursday, had to book for 3 people because it only offered 9pm for 2 people. Advised by staff to do that when we asked how to get a table around 6. Edited May 25, 2022 by vitrocmax Typo

I’ve had a couple of the ‘pornstar’ martinis as they’re called round here 😂 The little shot glass that comes with it is Prosecco. I never know whether to pour it in or drink it separately. I was out with work colleagues last week and I drank half the Prosecco and then when I’d drunk from the cocktail glass ( it was very full!) I poured the other half into the cocktail 🤷♀️😂
vitrocmax Posted May 25, 2022 #70 Share Posted May 25, 2022 The web is full of suggestions, some say finish with the Prosecco and others say mix it, but according to the creator of the cocktail, Douglas Ankrah, he advises you to scoop out and eat the passion fruit garnish, drink the prosecco, then sip the cocktail at your leisure. So drink it however you want, it’s up to you!

Maybe introducing charges for individual dishes has contributed to this. 1

There were light salady bits in between the heavier meats. It was the best meal we’ve had onboard , not that we’ve had any bad meals, but it was extra special. My son in law told me to pour the Prosecco into the martini so that’s what I did 😁 Sindhu was the only restaurant I booked in advance from home.
