I just got off the Vista last weekend.  One of the bartenders at the Vista Alchemy will be on the Celebration starting at the trans-Atlantic voyage from Southampton to Miami.

wonder if they plan to swap out M Gras with Celebration in the future and send M Gras to Miami?

 

Also wonder if the Celebration will have a few things different than M Gras?

Celebration will also have "neighborhoods" just as the MG does. The New Orleans area of the MG is a very popular spot. On the Celebration, the same area will be known as "The Gateway"... It will also feature a new-to-Carnival bar called Latitudes, designed to be reminiscent of bars found in airports and train stations around the world. From the artist renderings online, this is going to be a very popular area.

The experience seems to be substantially the same between the two ships so I'm not sure that's in the plans. Never say never of course but I don't see it - at least not any time soon. I expect the Excel ships to stay where they are for the foreseeable future.
