beerme1 Posted January 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2023 Curious if there's anywhere still tracking current cases because I can't find any. I am onboard and contracted covid on the Dec 22 holiday cruise.

Lastdance Posted January 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2023 (edited) So sorry about that, but if you are not very ill, it is a blessing. Did you report it to medical? What are they doing for you, or did you just test yourself? Rest assured that others have it and either reported it or are out spreading it; some unknowingly. when my DH and I had it back in November, it was being reported from the ship. kearney Posted January 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2023 Last Sep I got it on the last day of the cruise... felt a dry itchy throat at night...by 10 I started feeling like I was coming down with something...by noon Medical told me I was positive. We had somewhere between 44 and 54 onboard. DH tested negative..but we stayed together in our cabin... We had a guest relations person assigned to us... got our pass ports photographed for advanced customs clearance and we were escorted off the ship the next morning to an awaiting limo..which took us to our car at ParknGo. Celebrity handled this very well. The worst of the illness was the first 36 hours... then some congestion and tiredness. DN got it a few days later.. his symptoms were also mild. Crazy planning mom Posted January 1, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2023 The CDC is no longer posting stats on their public website. You can information by making a FOIA request as media outlets have done. You could ask someone on the ship about your particular sailing. My husband caught it on our October cruise and we reported it. I later found out that there were 3 people in quarantine on our sailing while there was many more people coughing around the ship. Many people cough who don’t have Covid. 6 2
