Beyond Luminae dirty windows

Wow.  What a disappointment.  My first time in Luminae.

The food was excellent.  The service was excellent.  The wines were good.  Even the Vermentino wine from Lodi.

It was good even without all the constant up selling.

Everyone was 10 years older than us.

But the dirty windows almost made me cancel my cruise.

Seriously how do you people cruise under these conditions?

😭😭😭😭

However did you manage?  You must visit guest relations immediately to remove your gratuities!

Why do you feel the need to state the obvious?  😂😂😂

Dirty windows are a way of life on a ship.

Well shouldn’t they have someone out there cleaning the Luminae windows before I have lunch?  Should I do it myself?  🥸

I saw a vlogger filming on Edge recently, and he was stating that part of Celebrity's new "Spring Into Summer" sale will feature up to a $25 on board credit per stateroom for cleaning the windows to the OV staterooms.

Does it cost more or less for clean windows in a suite?  😂

On Solstice last month, I noticed a few windows that had condensation, apparently between panes of glass on the windows.  One of the big windows in Blu was always opaque due to condensation.

How much OBC did you get?  Asking for a friend.

Salt caked. windows on a ship is a part of ships life for cruisers!  You are on open waters after all!!!

Any other complaints?

Well since you ask.  I thought the duck in Luminae was better then the NY Strip.  They only had one Macallan in the Retreat.  I kept hitting the lights in the lounge because they were too low.  Should I go on?  I can write them down and update my list tomorrow.

You wouldn’t enjoy a suite.  Mine is so big that by the time I get where I’m going, I forgot what it is I wanted to do.  It’s exhausting.  I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.  It sucks to be me.

Other than that people don't know an attempt at humor when they see one? 😉

" an attempt at humor " ???

LOL--- From where I come from ----A pretty poor "attempt" --- A " troll " could do better.

Not to insult anyone ( as per the Guidelines of CC ), but, no way this thread will get the number of posts as " Who's the Captain on the XYZ in May 2026 " ???
