Is it the same two free days on a 13-night cruise?

 yes...

It would be nice if it was 2 days for up to 7 nights, 3 days for 8-12 nights, and 4 days for anything over 12 nights...

Same with laundry but alas it is also per cruise over 5 nights.

The laundry I can do without... But I do agree, it would be nice for those that use the service.
RC should really think beyond the 7 or 8 night cruises.

Hi

Do the 2 free days of wifi for D+ have to be used consecutively?

Thanks

If you log in mid day it stretches over a 24 hour period so you could effectively get 4 days

The perk is a set amount of $. You can spend it however/whenever you want - it just happens to add up 2 x the cost of the 24 hour package.

I have read the best way for a couple to use it is for two separate days on one account, then a package for the remainder of the cruise with the other person’s account.  Is it possible to combine the D+ benefit with the Prime discount?

That's a great question.  I have heard conflicting answers.  I have read that some have been successful in applying their Prime discount to remaining days, after they use their D+ free days.

I know for sure that you cannot use these perks together - at the same time.  But I think you are asking the same question I have - can you use them concurrently....

I will find out very shortly !  We will be on a 4 night Serenade sailing in July.  I intend to use my 2 free D+ days and then try and get my  Prime discount applied for the last 2 days.  I expect this attempt to fail....but I'm going to try.  Even if I get no Prime discount for the last 2 days it will still be cheaper than buying the plan pre-cruise UNLESS they increase the onboard price above what it is currently showing.  There's just no way to anticipate how this will work out, but I will report back !

So how do you use your 2 days in different non consecutive 24 hour periods?  I thought once you logged in, your 48 hours started.  We usually just buy wifi, but have a 4 day in front of a longer B2B and figured we could use the benefit.

We always thought we were not interested in cruises longer than seven nights.  Then we cruised for nine nights on a small ship over Christmas 2022 and loved it. Apparently most of our seven night cruises were on the Oasis class or equivalent ships, so of course we were exhausted after seven nights and ready to go home. We have a thirteen night on the Grandeur booked for next year and four days of internet just will not be enough.

I just did this on a 4 night sailing. I went to the voom help desk on embarkation to make sure we did it right. I "bought" one day, and then a second day, then my partner "bought" the remaining 2 days package. Make sure you see $0.00 as the purchase price. Each day counts down 24 hours. You can easily separate your days as one day purchases.

Generally the best bet is the Black Friday sale. I have a 14 nighter in September and I purchased the internet last November during that sale.

That helps, thank you.  My long cruise is next year, so Black Friday would work.  Knowing what the price would be on board would make it easier to calculate.

This will help you avoid making any mistakes.

You can't buy a 48 hour package (the days remaining package is a bit different) - you can only buy a 24 hour package. You could buy the second 24 hour package right after the first one runs out sorta making it a 48 hour package.

Raye

For a 4 night how it worked for us ymmv

We create an account around 8am on day 2, works well to get us to final day as we are off ship before 8 so get pretty much the full 24hrs on final full ship day.

Day 1 Did not need wifi

Day 2 used first $24.99 coupon

Day 3 used second $24.99 coupon

Day 4 visit to Voom desk and got Prime discount applied to remaining cost of voyage and paid the difference for final daily rate

For some reason the onboard daily rate outside of the coupon structure was $26.99 on our last sailing

30% prime discount we paid $18.89, used free OBC to cover 😉

We were informed it cannot be combined and only used against whatever is purchased once coupons have been used.

Now if for some reason someone does not apply any coupons they can just use Prime discount anytime for any wifi purchase.

(Prime casino member but not D or D+)

being the caveat

Happy Days!
