Going to the bank for a large amount of singles is one of my favorite pre-cruise rituals. I always assume the bank teller thinks I'm going to a strip club (no judgment of course).

I get them at guest services or the casino....less small bills I have to cram into my wallet .

I just leave them in the bank envelope and take it in our carry-on bag in a little zippered bag/pouch thing that I'm not even sure where it came from.

Whatever works.

Same. Then leave it in the safe and restock my wallet as needed

As I always use Cleveland's, I don't distribute as many bills as some.  I used to use Salmon P. Chase's but I was never sure how to say his first name, so I gave up on those bills.

Wife make me get $ 5's. She says the strippers won't work for $ 1 anymore.

I've run into them limiting how many they will give out at once.

Yup.  I always hit the bank for lots of ones, fives, and some tens and 20s for sure.

Have run into too many times when I was limited when I asked for them.  Now I don't have to beg.  😉

Exactly how I do it.  It's my carry on bag that is my "office" away from home.

I never went to the bank.  I tried to save $1s and $5s as we got closer to a cruise.  Never thought about it!  I’ll be hitting the bank in a few weeks. That’s so much easier!

We just accumulate what we need in the month prior to the cruise by using large bills anywhere we actually use cash.  We ask for ones and fives as change and just put them aside.

That’s what we do but it’s never enough. Why?  I rarely have cash on me LOL

Regarding tipping the bartenders in the suite lounge, do most people tip them by the drink, by the day, or once at the end of the cruise? I'm leaning toward daily when we visit during happy hour, although last time we were in a suite I think we tipped once at the beginning of the cruise and again at the end.

We tip each time we order a drink.

Same.

Although we also recently gave an extra tip at the end of the cruise to our favorite SL bartender because he made us multiple drinks everyday (some were voucher drinks during the day, others during happy hour) and went above and beyond in multiple ways. He was also one heck of a nice guy and made excellent drinks.

Ok thanks for that.  I know there are certain beers and wines that are free from 11-11. We do have a refreshment package too.  Do they give you a receipt for your drink so you can tip?  Or is cash expected?

only on OASIS class.

We tip per order as servers/bartenders could change throught the cruise.

I never thought about that.  I'd hate to think my local bank teller thought that of me.  I'll have to let her know what it is for.  Then she'll only think I'm an alcoholic.

ONLY THE 11:00 am to 11:00 pm drink availability.  Quantum class generally does not have this benifit.

Oh okay….sorry i thought you were answering the questions.  You were commenting about the 11-11 availability on oasis class ships.  We will be on Allure for this cruise.  Thanks!

I prefer to avoid an extra trip into the ashtray of the seas by getting them in advance from my bank.  😉
