Have it on my To Do list to phone Celebrity and ask -- but work both today and tomorrow is busy so will be at least Friday before I have a chance

I have already done research and have my list of alternative ships / lines which are smoke/vape free

The test runs through Sunday.  Maybe Monday would be a good time to check.

Would you mind sharing which lines? I'm very sensitive and am considering other options if this becomes the new norm. TIA

Please share any other lines that are vape/smoking free along with the boats.

Wish there was more encouragement in stopping vaping/smoking, or anything that produces secondhand in general but that requires a higher power, lol.

Oceania has smoke free casinos. Yes, it is more expensive but we love no lines or reservations needed for Main Dining room, no or very short lines to get on and off of ship, towel covered pads on lounge chairs, Speciality restaurants included, and wonderful service.

Currently on Eclipse which is one of the "trail ships" and there has been no evidence of vaping in the casino.

yeah i’ve read more than one post where even though vaping is allowed there either was very little of it happening or no signs of it at all

Royal Caribbean has recently added non-smoking casinos on their Oasis class ships.

I sent email to Celebrity Executive complaining about any plans to allow vaping. Within 72 hours had phone call from someone in the Executive Office asking me to describe my concerns on a recorded conversation that would be shared with the decision makers. I worked hard to state my concerns in a calm clear way but did state that I absolutely will not sail with a cruise line that allows smoking or vaping in the casino.

Just boycott the casinos. Of course that's easy for me to say as we don't gamble and would have no problem avoiding the casino to get to where we are going. Do it all the time on RC.

But we are against the idea of vaping anywhere inside of Celebrity ships. I also have emailed the executive office when this vaping experiment first was reported here on CC.

I keep hearing that some of the ships have non smoking casinos but it’s not really too clear. I’ve posted on the HAL board to try to get actual passengers to confirm this.

HAL bans casino smoking on their older ships (except Zaandam)  supposedly because of the way smoke drifts to entertainment areas. The list includes Zuiderdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam and Westerdam. All ships newer than these allow casino smoking.

You won’t have many options, I’ll say that.
