So_Tweetie Posted December 23, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Princess just emailed me an UNBELIEVABLE offer that I want to book RIGHT NOW. I went on the website and cannot find availability, so I tried reaching out to my PVP. Got an auto-reply out-of-office...I think I might DIE if I can't take advantage of this deal.....what is the next best option?!

So_Tweetie Posted December 23, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted December 23, 2023 I definitely noticed the typo, but....everything else made sense. Including my PVP calling six times since yesterday...
1412p0oi Posted December 23, 2023 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2023 (edited) I think that's a scam email. Just check the email handle. If the email handle is not legit then you know the email is not legit at least. I say this as a person who gets a ton of scam emails all the time and am always trying to filter and block them out. But if it is real then check it out? Having a room for $50/person/per night is not impossible to find for a 7-day cruise. So_Tweetie Posted December 23, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Does this address seem like a scam to you all? It links directly to the Princess site...
adoris Posted December 23, 2023 #7 Share Posted December 23, 2023 I received the same offer…it’s a casino offer. I received my email mid afternoon there were some excellent deals but all the low rate offers have been taken. All the rates I see now are higher.

Rare Shippy Posted December 23, 2023 #11 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Might be a scam BUT it appears to be a casino offer. If so, your PVP will not know anything about it. You need to call the casino department. not sure but I think it is 888-772-6697

I guess people snapped up those interior cabins on the Sun very quickly - not surprising!

Asquare Posted December 23, 2023 #19 Share Posted December 23, 2023 I just got the $50 Casino offer too. I was able to look at availability…balconies started at $100 but only for forward & aft. The 16 day TA that included Morocco would be great…if only we were retired!

If it were a scam, it would not tell you to contact your CVP or TA. It would say to contact a special number for the special price. Perhaps instruct to pay with a giftcard and leave the pin. True, there is a grammar mistake, but that happens often on Princess emails. It's usually a spacing error, not knowing when to use, "which" or "what," as also happens on CC posts. Point is, it's one person writing the emails and no one proofreading. This too sounds like Princess.

cheese please Posted December 23, 2023 #24 Share Posted December 23, 2023 So call the Princess Cruise line that you get on their site not the linked one from e-mail. And go from there. If scam no foul if legit score. But at lest know you are booking through the legal company.
