LOL...at least you can soften the blow with being able to order espresso and cappacino in the DR's (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and other restaurants free of charge. When we've been on some other lines, you had to pay.

Radio, enjoy the ride home and thanks again.:D

Radio, I hate to ask but would you mind hurrying back. See, you are on my ship and I don't think I can wait until friday. so if you would be so kind as to rush back I know I speak for many when I say we would truly appreciate it!!

Oh, and bring back the great weather as well.

:D

I have to agree! We have been trying to wait patiently but I'm not sure we can hang on much longer!!

Thanks so much for your reports and the wonderful pictures - it will almost seem as if I will have cruised for two weeks instead of one!

Paul

I haven't been back to Carver but have been to the Harbor location of our favorite place. Did you know Cafe Olio's at Pinehills now is serving their meatballs?

Until Radio started this post.. I was really bummed out about not going to St. George next year.. and then when I saw the pictures of the "doings" and the ship.. I can barely wait.. NCL and RC smartly are making the Dockyard (and I remember it when) an exciting place to be with the underwriting of the entertainment and if all goes well I plan to be there this exact week next year...2010..thanks for everything..

Thanks for taking time from your vacation to wet our appetites. I am sad that your time in Bermuda has come to an end but happy that my turn is coming soon. June 19th will be here before I know it. Maybe someone on the next sailing will take us along too. Enjoy your next 2 days at sea. Kick back and relax.

Thank you Radio for your (as always) entertaining travelogue - it brought back many happy memories of my cruise on the Spirit.

I was particularly pleased to see this picture of Fort St Catherine because at the time you were taking this picture, I was standing (in the rain) in the fort waving at the ship - although you can't quite see me. I was waiting to start a rehearsal for a play that will be performed outdoors at the fort in July to celebrate Bermuda's 400th anniversary of continuous settlement.

Radio, was last night the White Hot Party? How did it go?

Great stuff as usual!!;)

It was a great party. . . NCL sure knows how to throw a party. They gave everyone "glowing" sticks, bracelets, and the drinks included lights in the bottom.

The music was really good too. . .

Hi Radio-

Thanks for the postings, and thanks for confirming my son's safe arrival in Bermuda. He and his friends are on the Dawn, hopefully ready to enjoy as wonderful a vacation as you experienced.

We were on the Spirit last year - she is a lovely ship! After reading your thread, I am pretty sure where our next cruise will take us. We live 20 minutes out of Boston, so I think it's "meant to be"

Safe travels

Radio, I absolutely love your posts, run home after work and read each one. I was wondering if you have been on the Dawn, we are booked on the Dawn Aug. 9th out of NYC, I was wondering which ship you enjoyed more the Spirit or the Dawn. You really have me wondering should we have booked the Spirit out of Boston this will be our 3rd time on the Dawn, I love that ship but maybe we should try another. Your pictures of the Spirit, really show what a beautiful ship sheis. I agree Bermuda is probably the most georgous island and the people are just lovely. Can't wait for more:p Thank you!!!

Thanks for your nice comments. . . I have never sailed on Norwegian on Dawn. This is only my 4th Cruise with NCL.

You can read "LIVE" posts that I have made as well as a couple of video's on the Gem (Bahamas), and Majesty (Bermuda). They can be found HERE

I toured the Dawn, and Spirit last July while they were in NYC, and I like the Dawn. I think that I would like to sail on Norwegian Dawn next. . .

I have alot more pics to come. I will be on the All Access Behind the Scenes Tour tomorrow !

Hello everyone. . .

I just returned from a fabulous dinner tonight with the Captain, and his Sr. Officers. It was a delightful dinner, as well as wonderful conversation.

Among the Ships Officers were also 4 other Cruise Critic friends.(I will post their names, if they give me a thumbs up !)

I was so honored to be invited to this event at Cagney’s. It was evident that the Sr. Staff of NCL really, really cares about the passenger comfort, and satisfaction. They asked questions constantly (and even took notes) Thanks NCL for inviting me.

I have to get up to the Le Cabaret Glamour Party up in the Galaxy of the Stars. (Deck 12 FWD)

Hello everyone. . .

Our clocks were turned back last night, and today is quiet time on the ship (at least this morning), but today will offer activities from 9AM until late tonight.

This is our final day at sea, and I haven fallen in love with this ship. She might be one of the best ships I have sailed on. She has lots of personality, and beauty. Oh yeah. . . and it "feels" like a ship. She is truly a ship, that offers something for most everyone !

I have many pics that I have not posted yet. here are a few from yesterday.

I will try to post afew more throughout the day.

Just curious what this means.........

Are you referring to the motion?

Radio, correct me if I am wrong, but I think he is refering the the "feel" of the ship, not the motion. Meaning it is a ship and not just a floating hotel/resort. Many ships built now are not built with the attention to detail they once were. They are built as floating hotels and all of the "ship charm" has been taken out. And I would have to agree the Spirit does feel like a ship (having sailed on her a couple years ago).
