lol, I usually only stop by mid-morning for a chocolate croissant!

Ok, now we're talkin! My absolute favorite place on the ship...not so much for the sweets though, as for the coffees! Cannot wait to get my mitts around my next Aspen coffee...Yummo!

I am not a huge sweet tooth but they once had the best lemon meringue pie there once. OMG -- what that good. :)

Yes everything you see on the pics, along with some big jars of cookies are all complimentary...you must pay for your coffee (latte, cappuccino etc) here!

And yes, for the most part they all taste pretty good!!

Did you notice any Gluten Free options in the Café?

I loved the almond croissants there.

The 'German Chocolate Cake' is good, however in my opinion has nothing to do with a German cake.

Oh dear - if all of that is included in the cruise fare I am afraid I'll sink the boat by day 3 or at minimum will have to have hallways and doors widened.

They do have gluten free options here and at Gelateria. I forget what they were though, but there are a few.

I just say no to all these sugar loaded cakes. Trying not to put on weight on a cruise it is best to stick to one dessert a day, in the evening.

It's the coffee that gets me. Especially when we have a drinks package, I get way too may espressos for my own good. Sadly, the desserts haven't been the same for me since the black and white cookies went away. But, that is probably a good thing. I can stick to the espresso.

Tasteless most of them. Very easy to resist.

I saw gluten free biscuits. Now, I do love the oat and raisin cookies.

We just sailed Summit May 29 - June 5 and thought the cakes in Cafe Al Bacio were very good. Better than the desserts up in the buffet. We would go there after lunch and get our cafe mochas, cappuccinos and dessert.

Same here with the Aspen loved it, last week we would go there right after the show each night.

Café Al Bacio is one of the main reasons to sail Celebrity (every cruise line has its one special draw for us - this is the one for Celebrity).

Love an Americano and a piece of cake for a mid afternoon treat.

These desserts beat anything served in the buffet and most of what's served in the MDR.

Aspen coffee and a slice of Tres Leches please.:)
