  1. Check once again. That is not Bait and Switch. Your counsel can explain (at their hourly rate - of course). I’m not sure what law would require someone with the job title of butler to deliver your coffee rather than someone with job title of room service attendant but best of luck on the case.
  2. Sounds like you're in the profile landing page and not in a reservation. You need to click Plan My Cruise on your booking to get to the Cruise Planner.
  3. There is no need to call at all. It's absolutely on the Celebrity page. Go into the cruise planner > click your initials in the upper right hand corner > order history. Everything is there. I've also always received an automated emailed invoice.
  4. But if you read the actual piece in full........ Important details and advisements Guests must be able to negotiate the steps to enter and exit the tour transportation. This tour takes place in a foreign country where laws, regulations and business practices may vary from your home country. This could include significant differences in transportation mode and quality, infrastructure, regulations, and driving practices. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the associated risks and travel warning at travel.state.gov, gov.uk/government/organisations/foreign-commonwealth-development-office, or your country equivalent travel advisory system, and consider when selecting or participating in any tour.
  5. Is your app outdated? That is the old price. My app shows a correct price of $85.
  6. That's dramatic. There are 604 Caribbean cruises between today and the end of the 2026 cruises that are currently out. 70 out of them go to CocoCay - 11.5%. 46 of those 70 are 6 night or shorter cruises. You still have 162 Caribbean cruises 8 days or longer and 534 cruise choices that do not visit that stop. Also absent from the schedule so far are any 2026 cruises that call on Coco Cay.
  7. The food troughs at the buffet are always a madhouse during peak breakfast and lunch. That definitely isn't anything new or unique to Celebrity.
  8. You are not likely to get answers to very specific questions. You are calling a reservations center that most likely has the same data you have access to.
  9. Personally would consider the PH much more similar to Sky Suite than Celebrity Suite based on cabin size and layout i.e. no separate sleeping area, sq/ft is nearly the same and so on. The price I'm seeing is on the PH is $10,980 plus your quoted $750 versus $12,583 for the Sky Suite for a difference of $853. I realize the CS creates a more shocking disparity in price for your purpose but these comparisons always seem to take some logical cartwheels. I'm not sure how Oceania handles OBC but I would be confident ins getting $1,200+ in OBC on the Celebrity booking as well.
  10. People have this odd need to justify and complain about it. It's ultimately a frivolous expense. Maybe they are still disillusion from the low prices after COVID. We had an SV on Edge, prem drinks, prem wifi, tips, plus $380 in OBC for a total of $2896 booked for February 2022. With the current travel demand among other things I have zero expectation of getting a price comparable to that ever again in the future. I'm still waiting to find that comparable cabin and itinerary on a lux line that is significantly cheaper than Celebrity that I read about so often, but so far I'm consistently seeing those numbers anything from 30% to 100% higher than my Celebrity price. Maybe I'm blind.
  11. Unless this is a new thing and they are pulling out chairs daily...I've never seen seating in this area on E Class ships. None of these new videos show seating either. By the one lady's dress blowing you can see how windy it is even when the ship is in port.
  12. On E class the open space forward is accessed from the spa. The gym is a deck above the spa and has no open deck in front. S class ships have the outdoor deck in front of the gym. Edge/Apex would be 16 - Retreat Sundeck 15 - Fitness Center 14 - Spa 12 - Iconic Suites Beyond/Ascent 17 - Retreat Sundeck 16 - Luminae 15 - Fitness Center 14 - Spa 12 - Iconic Suites
  13. I can't imagine spending any amount of time on the empty outside area in front of the Thermal Suite on E class. There is no seating (except for maybe one art piece you can sit on), no shade and it's incredibly windy.
  14. Can't argue with that. As I always say...self awareness on a cruise ship does not exist. Based on actual events, if you wan to run sprints on a crowded S class track at 2pm, on a sea day, when everyone is a half dozen drinks in? As long as you shout "RUNNER ON YOUR LEFT!!!!" loudly at the 600 people in your way...you're good.
  15. Not sure what you are distressing over. Does he need to be indoors? The E class jogging and walking track is probably one of the best on any cruise ship. There are separate run and walk lanes.
  16. YC may look great at a price that isn't at Retreat and Haven prices yet but once you step out of the YC confines? No thank you.
  17. Celebrity doesn't do much with draft beer. Craft Social has 7-8 on tap listed on the menu in the app. Sunset Bar and Pool Bars may have two on draft but they often don't have any available. Options are basic. Two Heinekens, Amstel Light, Newcastle, etc.
  18. Their math is pretty simple. It's charged as 200% of the price for the first person - whatever that price may be. Since there is no person 2 there is no 75% off any portion. In this situation wait until there is a sale that has a discount applied for person 1 and 2.
  19. The asked you to "wait" and actually follow a so called "line"??? Blasphemy! Come on. I'm in my 30's, workout 5-6 times a week. More than physically capable of carrying multiple suitcases. In Fort Lauderdale they always still insist I don't take the escalator without a free hand. One "capable" and offended important person sends their overstuffed 70lb suitcase barreling down the stairs or escalator and they would drop people like bowling pins on the way down.
  20. You’re going to a guarantee in a higher category at a potentially substantial savings versus booking the higher cabin directly. If you are one who puts extreme importance on cabin location, it’s not for you.
  21. That's a stretch. It may sound fancy and exotic but Bali can be very reasonable. We've stayed at the Ritz in Bali per-COVID during high season in a mid-level room for a cost of around $2,900 for the week. Conversely the Ritz in Fort Lauderdale (which is very mediocre for a Ritz) would cost me almost $1,700 for one night in January for the same room type. You can do a private tour to outlying areas in Bali for less than $75 USD a day. Hotels and resorts are definitely not immune to changes in their product either whether it's lounges, very minimal housekeeping, astronomically high on-prem restaurant costs and so on. Squeezing out every nickel and dime while reducing services (costs) in 2023 is hardly isolated to the travel industry.
  22. FYI the website has been updated with some images and more details for each of the activities offered in the Annex. You can see it at the link below (make sure you are not logged into the Celebrity website to view the link). https://www.celebritycruises.com/account/cruise-planner/category/onboardactivities?bookingId=&shipCode=AT&sailDate=20240121
  23. Show up whenever you want. Definitely no need to call to discuss with someone.
  24. Room charge on a slot machine. There are printed instructions explaining how to do it at the cashier's desk.
  25. I don't cruise on MSC but you can definitely cash out non-refundable OBC on Celebrity.
