Carmel and Dial 7 are generally the car services recommended here and on TripAdvisor. if you are going from the "listings" on TA you are basically looking at ads. If you are going from the forums I would trust those recommendations

The grocery stores there (Bonus, Netto, etc) have GREAT candy selections at very reasonable prices.

Reply 3 is pretty much perfect. Flybus is what we do. Taxi direct to your lodging will probably be double the cost, for some folks the convenience is worth it.

Expect rain every day in Iceland and you won't be disappointed. We've been there 31 days so far and have had at least some rain on 20-22 of those days. Some days just showers. 2 or 3 it poured all day. Umbrellas won't help there. Temps in summer when you are visiting should be a low in the 40s overnight, day time in the 50s into the 60s. Might hit 70 if you are lucky.

I would use my no fee CC for all purchases. You get the best conversion rate that way and don't have to worry about carrying different kinds of cash or having leftovers. Many places in canada will happily take your us Dollars at a 1 to 1 exchange rate, which is lousy for you

We saw Beautiful Noise before it went to Broadway. Great music, but the story is quite weak. We saw Some Like It Hot this past weekend and it was a blast, an old fashioned Musical with lots of singing and dancing. We also saw Shucked, which I did NOT want to enjoy, but I haven't laughed more at a Broadway musical in a VERY long time. If you want serious, the new production of A Doll's House is REALLY well done, especially the ending. Buzz about the new Camelot isn't good. Aaron Sorkin has made some changes. Google Maps describes the journey and options quite nicely

Portland will have lots of options, from outlet shopping to lighthouse tours to local boat tours, etc. Likely you can figure out your own excursion without the ship if you need to. Stinks about Newport. It's a great little city to visit. Our last weekend before we moved from the Boston area to out here was in Newport.

That price for Azamara for that many days is REALLY nice. If I had the time I'd do this AND do an Expedition later!

They are not. More "house sized" than "city block" sized. But you can get right up close to them in a kayak or zodiac or amphibious boat, and there is a black sand beach (look up Diamond Beach) across the street (5 minute walk) where they get beached so you can get incredible pictures of them

It's also just a 10 minute walk to the hotel from the MBTA Silver Line, which is free from Logan. Hotel to Cruiseport is a 15-20 minute walk, if you don't have much luggage and are up to the hike. If you do want a car instead, I agree with 1025, for such a short ride (the last one is the longest and won't be 15 minutes) I'd just grab a taxi or uber from the port

Reykjavik is quite walkable. If you are anywhere in the center of the city (near the Cathedral, Harpa, waterfront, or shopping area it won't be far away. Their hours are on their website (yes, they are open late)

Sixt is one of the agencies that are strongly recommended AGAINST on the TripAdvisor forum for Iceland and I try to warn folks against here. There are some very good agencies there and some very bad ones and a bunch in the middle

So you know, there are icebergs at Jokulsarlon in Iceberg. Easily reached on a 2 day tour from Reykjavik (it's about a 7 hour drive, one way) if you ever chose a land vacation in Iceland.

THIS. Porter Airlines flys to EWR from downtown Toronto. SO convenient and comfortable and easy to do.

If you end up with an obstructed view ticket, you can usually find a standing room location behind the grandstand. They also DO mark REALLY obstructed tickets as such, so if you are directly behind a pole, just a row or two, you will know in advance. If you are 3-10 rows behind and it is in line with Home Plate or the mound you might be disappointed. Middle of Grandstand rows is rarely obstructed, same with first 3 rows or so as the pillars themselves are a few rows back Avoid sections 6-12 and the box seats in front of them in Right Field as they face the Center Field wall and you have to crane your neck 90 degrees to see the action Tell us the opponent and date, not hard to predict how big the crowd will be. Tampa on a Tuesday is different than St. Louis on a Sunday. With the new pitch clock, game length should be shorter. 3 hour games are probably the outside expectation with 2:45 or so the average I anticipate

What's your budget? What kind of food? What neighborhood? SO many options and we've been to NYC over 50 times in the past 10 years, should be easy to come up with the right choice for you
