shanley Posted January 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Does NCL ever have sales for shore excursions? Just wondering how likely something like that comes up. Last year RCCL had 20% off sale which brought down a ship excursion to cheaper than doing it privately. I have two ports that I will likely book ship excursions. Rare mking8288 Posted January 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Not ahead of the cruise, AFAIK. We had seen -some- last minute on board shore excursions on sale for Port Canaveral & Nassau, sailing off-season with NCL. via Nexus 5X Oreo 8.0 w Tapatalk, VPN secured. Rare shof515 Posted January 1, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2018 they are no sales. however depending on your latitude level, you get a 5-15% discount off of shore excursions.
Buford T Justiice Posted January 1, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Depending on booking window, some can also receive the $50 per port / per cabin excursion credit.
Cruising...our happy place Posted January 1, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2018 I asked again, if they would ever offer a bundle price, if we ordered excursions at all the ports, and the answer was no. I am really not sure if some excursions are less expensive when ordering in advance Sent from my iPad using Forums

Gizmosmum Posted January 3, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 3, 2018 NCL offered tour bundles(2-3 tours) on their South American cruise in April this year. I had already prebooked my trips privately so didn't pay much attention. I assume they were trying to fill their tours.
new2cruising2006 Posted January 3, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Can you get the latitudes discount if you book ahead of time or is it just if you book onboard? Also can you get the discount on top of the $50 excursion credit if that is one of your perks? I just got off the Getaway and I waited to book onboard because I was still undecided. That particular excursion went up $8 each. Not sure if they all went up because I only was pricing that one.

Markanddonna Posted January 3, 2018 #15 Share Posted January 3, 2018 With the Latitudes' discount, the shore excursion has to be booked onboard, not ahead of time.
norway olin Posted January 3, 2018 #16 Share Posted January 3, 2018 With the Latitudes' discount, the shore excursion has to be booked onboard, not ahead of time. Not true in my experience. I have two rooms reserved for Feb, one has Latitude members and one does not. I booked shore excursions online and the price is 10% less for the latitudes members. Rare shof515 Posted January 3, 2018 #17 Share Posted January 3, 2018 With the Latitudes' discount, the shore excursion has to be booked onboard, not ahead of time. it depends on your booking if you booked your cruise AFTER they changed the latitude program last year, you can book online with the discount if you booked your cruise BEFORE they changed the latitude program last year, you have to book it on the phone or on the ship. April42749 Posted January 3, 2018 #18 Share Posted January 3, 2018 With the Latitudes' discount, the shore excursion has to be booked onboard, not ahead of time. I booked my 2/2 excursions and got the discount. It shows the original price until you get to checkout, and then the price goes down.
