ms Nieuw Amsterdam, ms Zuiderdam and ms Veendam Port Everglades Sail-Away - November

Sunday a very busy day for sail-aways with eight cruise ships in Port Everglades, including three dam ships! And there will be some "Love Boat" toots!

The Nieuw Amsterdam (at Pier 26) is scheduled to set sail at 15:30/3:30 PM ET whilst the Veendam (at Pier 19) and Zuiderdam (at Pier 21) are scheduled for a 16:00/4:00 PM ET departure (subject to change as always).

Looking forward to all those ships. Hopefully they will get away earlier than 7 pm (the time Eurodam left on Saturday).

When I got up just after 5:30 - 4 ships already docked or docking.

Freedom otS, NA and X Silhouette already lined up along ICW. Regal Princess backing into her usual spot by the drawbridge. Allure otS coming up the channel [now on screen].

Then a little break before Veendam, Conquest and Zuiderdam appear.

Veendam on screen - PEV.

Conquest now on screen and Zuiderdam should follow shortly. Then we are done for this am.

Last but certainly not least - Zuiderdam on screen in the channel.

Eurodam on screen coming into Nassau.

Koningsdam docked a little more than an hour ago at Aruba - leaving at same time as sailaway in FLL.

Lots on DAM ships on screen today, again. :D :D :D

I was going to get up to watch them sailing in, as you can see I got here to late.

A beautiful day in Ft. Lauderdale. I don't think I have ever seen 8 ships at once there. I wouldn't want to be flying out of FLL today. Hope to be here for the earlier departures.

We are sailing the Zuiderdam today. The port traffic is nuts with 8 ships. It took 40 minutes from when we left the Hilton to drop off luggage and park. Check in was quick and easy. Now just waiting to board. I am super giddy! :)

The FLL webcam stopped panning and has been focused on the Regal Princess for at least 30 minutes.:confused::confused::confused:

I see NA has changed their departure from 3:30 to 4:40 and so far confirmed. Veendam and Zuiderdam still at 4 pm.

....the amazing parade today. But both of my teams (Cowboys and 'Hawks) playing today so I'll be fixated on TV screen.

Click on "Request-a-wave" at the bottom of the Port Everglades webcam page. You fill out a form giving all the info. Always a good idea to have a flag or wave something (a towel will do) so the webcam person can spot you.

Checking in. First time in a while I have gotten here early and should be able to watch the whole parade of ships departing.

Sorry about the "20" not making it in the thread title - I need to pay more attention to the length but with three dams ships it gets difficult!

It is a blustery, cold day in New York City and it feels like winter. So sail-away therapy is called for. In eleven weeks we will be boarding the Koningsdam! :D
