I generally use the nail clippers while bathing and so they just go to the nether regions of the ship down the drain. As for whisker clippings, the sink seems good enough. I would not use the toilet lest one of the shaving heads drops out. I hope all that's not TMI but you did ask.

Which makes me wonder, when shaving in the Sea View Pool, do I use mentholated shaving gel, or a classic cream?

Just toss the nail clippings onto your neighbors balcony. They will take care of it for you.
