Everything.. Norwegian BLISS! - launch April 2018 -

Recommended Posts

ok NCL any day now please activate dining reservations and show for the Panama Canal cruising in MAY. I have been checking each day for two weeks now. I did get thermal SPA but I had to call.

I have been told that everything is slowing day in regards to Bliss.

But of course just as I post this I am thinking magically it will be fixed. who knows right.

But do call if you want Thermal Pass. Don't wait

Thanks for that information. I wondered if everything would be going smoothly as far as timing of making certain reservations since this is a brand new ship. We are on the inaugural Seattle to Alaska sailing on June 2 after your Panama Canal cruise so the 90 day mark is coming soon. I will definitely call on the 90th day if the option is not available online for the Thermal Spa pass. I have never been in the Thermal Spa so that will be a new experience for me. This is also my first time on a mega ship and a brand new ship. A lot of things to look forward to!

Those on the Inaugural had to call in dining reservations, after 90 day window. I would call on Dining now, Get reservations in For Q Steakhouse early, heard it might be popular.

Just booked an M9 today for my wife’s birthday on the September Pacific Coastal this year. Can’t wait!!! We are also on the Bliss at Christmas in 2019 with our 4 kids in an H4. They aren’t too impressed that mom and dad get to go-kart before them. Oh well. That’s a perk of being the parents I guess.

I called and booked my Thermal Spa Pass and all of my dining reservations at the 90 day mark. No need to wait or you might not get the times you want (though they will have more dining reservations available on board). Have you joined our Roll Call?

How long is your Panama Canal cruise and what was the charge for the Thermal Pass? I'm doing the 15 day on the Bliss next March. Thanks for any info!

Thanks for posting these pictures DougOut. We are new to NCL and just booked two 10th floor balconies for the Nov 3rd 2018 Panama Canal Transit. This will be my first cruise in 2 years due to an auto accident 1&1/2 years ago. Hopefully I'll be walking again by then but if not I'm thinking of renting a scooter for onboard from special needs at sea.

I think the person you quoted is on the same cruise as I am in May and it is 15 days. The Thermal Spa Pass was $299 plus tax and grat for a total of $352 (or around there...I don't have my confirmation in front of me). :)

That's $352 per person for the duration I'm assuming?

Anyone else find it surprising that Meyer Werft doesn’t have shore power for the ship? It would appear they are running at least some of the diesel engines based on the smoke plume.

I wonder if, at handover, the purchase price includes a full tank of "gas". :D

Hey guys, first post here. I've been following this thread for quite some time now. Have to thank everyone for the pics and the updates of this beautiful ship...

Booked on the transatlantic in April, first balcony cabin...can't wait although a bit nervous (never done a transatlantic before). Have a few questions if that's ok? (If posting in the wrong thread please remove) ;)

Although my third NCL cruise how will the maiden voyage differ than the other cruises? Can't book shows or dining yet, do we need to call like other people are saying in this thread, or will everything be subject to change as it's all new etc?

Anyone ever done maiden voyages before?

Sorry for the long post! Thanks in advance!!

CALL CALL CALL to make your reservations for dining, shows, thermal Spa, excursions, nothing was working as of yesterday, Those on the First Panama have had to do the same.

Transatlantics I have done, Bring a favorite game, like LCR, Cards, there should be games and books in the Library too. Bring a kindle.

Find the Cruise Critic Roll call see if someone has started a Meet and Greet with the crew, and other events, slot pull, cabin Crawls, pub crawls, sailaway party meeting spots after Muster.

If you are solo find the other solos, The Solo lounge will have meetups, go to the meetups even if not in a studio, its on the dailies

Bring a highlighter, the dailies have TOO Much to do, you will never be bored.

Pretty sure there will be special events for the innagural. My Friend Mary a Casino geust and a few other I know will be onboard

Norwegian Night Out, dress up or not night. The Captain may be about on this night for photo ops , that will be listed in the Dailies

Glow night, the big party night where White, and tie dye do best, Ultraviolet party lights, glow sticks and Music. Weather permitting at Spice H2O most likely. Hit the party store or dollar stores for Glow sticks, and glow jewelry

And you thought your post was long!

I am on June 2 first Alsaka, we have about 140 for the Meet and greet

also on Nov 3 2018 2nd Panama, over 135 already for that (expect well over 300 by Nov)
