Ok, maybe it's France. QUANTUM is in Germany. :D

That's OK.... if I were on a B2B I wouldn't be thinking much about anything except what a great time I was having. :)

And congratulations on the retirement - I made that plunge late last year and so far, so good!

Compare the "activities level" of Oasis and Freedom:

Oasis' Cruise Compass is 50% longer.

I have only done trivia twice. (and won both ;))

Harry Potter trivia? Madonna songs trivia? Seriously????

Loved Once Upon a Time, last night's show. Much better than the one on Liberty.

Richard did his special dance last night before the show. Doesn't call it the Evolution of Dance anymore. Copyright issues, maybe?

GREAT Quest. Took some Quest VIrgins. What fun!!! Nothing "over the top" this time.

I will never forget the time that a woman showed the CD a labial piercing!!!!!!

This is my retirement celebration cruise!!!!!!

Wow, congratulations! And a celebratory B2B-B2B? YOU GO, GIRL!

Yes, enquiring minds want to know about how long Richard Spacey will be on board in December. . . please? Thanks in advance for any info on him.

well, as another poster posted, in today's article about PC voting to enlarge, they are in negotiations to get a larger ship. I don't think it's to handle an Oasis class ship once every so often. Hopefully they are not spending millions to be an emergency port. Not that I want a larger ship, I'm just happy to hear about Explorer coming and new ports that we can sail to out of here!

Finally didn't lose in the casino last night.

(How is that for low expectations???)

Dancing Under the Stars: so-called buffet was VERY skimpy. Just about half a dozen offerings plus some dessert finger cakes.

All "finger food" - even MEATBALLS?!?!?

Farewell Show: no RC Farewell Song! :(

They sang AULD LANG SYNE.

Some cute little kids on board, but overall, very few children. Someone quoted a figure of 300 total.

Big "sales" the last night on the Promenade. People act like they have no stores at home, and this is their last opportunity, EVER, to buy anything.

This week: Cococay, St. Thomas & St . Martin.

No Nassau????? Surprised me.

Waiting in the terminal to be allowed to reboard. The crowd is getting impatient.

Some people live so close that they go home, do laundry, then re-board.

Apparently we will have the same entertainment. Clint Holmes and wife are in our group here.

From Friday 9/20 Florida Today.......Port commissioners gave preliminary approval for a site near the port's Cove restaurant & nightlife district to build a cruise terminal and parking garage complex that would be able to handle the largest cruise ships. The vote was 4-1. Cost estimates are $80 million. A cargo pier area will be eliminated to accommodate the new terminal. Preliminary plans call for a 2 story 162,700 sq foot cruise terminal & a three level 750 car parking garage that could open as early as November 2014. This seems bigger than a new cargo facility.

Captain Tor said that the changes CURRENTLY being made at PC will allow the Oasis/Allure to come to CP in an EMERGENCY. (if Miami/FL are closed because of hurricane, etc), but only if it is a true emergency, NOT on a regular basis.

The 3rd Oasis class ship will NOT be built in Finland, but in Germany. (Meyer Werft)

LOL...they are currently finishing a new park and welcome center. They did not build this for cargo ships and emergency stops. Now in the future new parking, shopping and a new pier are approved to be built. Port Canaveral will be the largest cruise port in Florida soon. Go to Florida today dot com and read up on the weekly news about the plans if you doubt. My personal thoughts are the Anthem will home port in Port Canaveral.
