Since there is a lot of negativity on here I thought I would post something completely positive. What are you most looking forward to about your next Cruise? If you have not yet cruised what are you most looking forward to about your first cruise? My next Cruise on the escape and I am most looking forward to, as a night owl having somewhere to eat at night and drink. I work constantly so I don't normally have the time to go clubbing or anything like that. I am also looking forward to the shows which will probably be amazing and looking forward to checking out that snow room lol.

We will be taking our 7th transatlantic. I am looking forward to days of no schedule.

Lots of time to read.

Someone else doing the cooking and cleaning.

Taking part in some of the activities.

Meeting interesting people.

Trying new foods.

Spending some time in the casino.

Evening entertainments.

Music in the lounges.

I am looking forward to the following:

my first NCL cruise

Owners Suite

UBP/UDP

Cruising in/out of NYC

switching off for 10 days - no phone/FB/email

not cooking/cleaning for 10 days

exploring a new ship and new destinations

enjoying the balcony, the haven and the butler services and all the other suite perks.

Not looking forward to turning 40 and waiting until 2017 for the cruise!

I always look forward to eating at Modernos and Le Bistro. Other things with our upcoming Oct cruise: just relaxing on the ship; we are doing the Mex Riv and don't plan on doing more than one excursion. I also am really looking forward to the UDP. Though we have never suffered from not drinking enough on a cruise, it will be nice to just order and not worry about whether we should pick the house glass of wine or a $9 glass or whether hubby can really afford that second scotch. We are also looking forward to seeing our foster daughter and her partner, who we haven't seen in over 2 years. They are sailing with us.

1. Cruising with my cousin and her DH.

2. Belize

2. Roatan

4. Costa Maya

5. Cozumel

Except for #1, that pretty much 2 out of 3 weeks for me. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do out there during that time.[emoji2]

I like the fact that we leave tomorrow. :)

I hope you have lots of fun. Hopefully you'll write a review

Great topic!

1. Spending time with my 3 gal pals; who just happen to be my daughter, my sister & my best friend. It's our annual trip together.

2. Boston. Have always wanted to visit; now we get almost 2 pre cruise days there!

3. The Suite Life. It's amazing how much easier it is to afford when you travel with friends & not partners;)

4. Bermuda. Beaches and fish tacos.

5. Sea Days. UBP & UDP in full force!

6. No DH to oversee my support of the Casino.

Cheers & happy sailing everyone....

Sounds awesome. Yeah I can see how it would be easier to afford when you go with people willing to chip in lol. I hear Bermuda is beautiful.

Sailing on a ship I have never sailed before.

Going to at least one new port I haven't visited before.

Those are my goals on every cruise.

So far, each cruise has at least one of those goals being met on all my 12 cruises.

What a way to travel. And I work for an airline. That's nice too.

Seeing Alaska with the family again, and this time being able to take my kids who are now 17 and 20.

Doing an the Chilkat Eagle Preserve excursion

Having the drink package and the dining package

Only negative, my first cruise on the Star to Alaska ended up having an upsell to a suite, this time we have just an oceanview cabin. So I wish my accommodations could have been better, but still getting to vacation which is always a plus.

This will be our first cruise with the UBP (we don't drink quite enough to justify it normally, but we may once we get it included) so I'm looking forward to that.

We're bringing my BIL and his GF on the cruise with us, as still working on my brother and his wife, so hopefully we'll have a nice group with us in adjoining minisuites. We're also trying to convince some friends to come along.

The last few times we've been to the Virgin Islands, we've just done the get off the boat and walk to the beach plan - this time, we've said we were going to do some excursions.

The Brazilian steakhouse - the closest on to us is long enough that we never think of going, and it's really tasty.

The gym - running with ocean views very much beats the views from my elliptical.

Escaping Michigan winters for a week+.

The fact that the Escape has added the dueling piano bar - DH was sad that was missing from the ship.

Probably lots of other things I'm not thinking of yet.

My wife turning off here cell phone, my continuing refusal to have a cell phone.

I know where you are coming from.

We only use our cells when we travel within the USA, since they are not international. I don't even turn mine on most of the time. We are retired and do our internet surfing and email at home.

When we go on a cruise, we leave the cell phones behind.

I realize what these smart phones can do. They are effectively mobile computers.

Still, DW and I bike 30 miles every other day and we use a very nice bike, jogging, walking path a lot on our island. It seems like anyone under 40 that we come across, even those biking, jogging or walking their dog has their cell phone in their ear or listening to music with earphones in their ears.

We come up on our bikes and they are almost always surprised when we go by them. I try to warn them ahead of time, saying good morning, but they can't hear me. What ever happened to enjoying the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. It seems to be an obsession for many.
