Great job Doug! If NCL was smart they would spiff you some cruises so you can live blog. I'm sure you sold a number of Escape bookings for them through this review. Bravo!!!

 

 

Ditto! Or even a series on the Travel Channel similar to the Booze Traveler. Wouldn't be a bad gig and Doug is obviously a natural...

I also greatly enjoyed your live review, humor and all the pics!

 

We Just escaped 3 weeks ago so it was fantastic for reminiscing and also inspiring for wanting to book our next cruise.

We had a blast on the Escape & reading your live review.

Best I have ever read! Been a member for 7 years and never posted, your review brought me out of my "lurking" status. So much fun, couldn't wait each morning to get up and see what adventures you were going to have for the day. Made my whole week! We leave on 3/12 and I am super excited to ESCAPE!

Thanks so much Doug fit the wonderful tour of the Escape. You got us so excited for our "Escape" this week. Needless to say we had to stop at the beer hall first. Wife poured down a Boulevard wheat, I went the way of a Magic Hat #9. Hope you have a safe trip home.

Must chime in, thanks for the review. You need to call NCL or hopefully you went to guest services and had your account comped.

 

After all the apparantely prudes writing reviews. Waiting days for drinks, never eating, waiting forever, everywhere, horrible service. You put many a people's mind at ease, even I was nervous maybe Escape wasn't the right choice.

 

If the super bowl ads are getting $5mill for 30 seconds. You deserve at least $1mill. for this review this thread will hit 100K views of positivity. You have more comments about this review on other threads than most reviews get.

That's it, another poster hit it exactly! Doug, you are a brilliant storyteller. Full of detail, readers are left anticipating what's happening when wifi is down, touring the ship, sleeping or diving. I found the updates of the various parts of the ship, ONDOUGTIME, when I'd usually be asleep, fascinating.

 

Doug, if I were you u really would explore a business partnership with NCL to bring them an effective new style of marketing.

 

Again, I loved it, lived it with you, and plan to evaluate the reread ability soon!!

 

On a side note, look up PERISCOPE in the App Store to add to your storytelling toolbox.

Power's been out for 22 hours due to storm. Just got it back and the FIRST thing I did was catch up on Doug's adventures. The best thread ever on CC. Thanks for taking us along.

 

The Dawn is a great ship but may be a bit of a letdown after this week. The wanderings may be a little limited but no less fun! :cool:

I don't know how I'm going to get through the next few days without your posts, I've already got withdrawal symptoms.

I started day one and I waited until today to POST because I really did not want to interrupt the SHOW (LIVE REVIEW). Doug you absolutely deserve to be BRANDED by NCL as their top guest and they should feature you on all the NEW cruise ships (live-reviews). If someone is reading Dougs post please contact the ELLEN DeGeneres Show and get him on there. As a matter of fact, I want to go with you. We can give a LIVE review on the way to ELLEN for all of your CC fans to follow. You covered every aspect of the SHIP with raw talent. Only slight of hand (no-pun intended )missing for me and my DW were pics and/or HANDPAYS at the CASINO. We have dropped a couple of $$$ in there and enjoy when we see or hear about winners while playing in CAS. Thanks again, DOUGOUT......YOUR review will last a life time on CC.

BTW......we are sailing on her March 19.....and can't wait.....
