Met Sanjay last night in CL, he will be on till Oct 23

 

Following along , thanks for posting . We sail on Freedom for the first time in November.

I knew Sanjay had gone to her, sorry we will miss him by only a couple of cruises. He made the cruises on Vision out of Tampa and the TAs fantastic with the events he organised, so many special memories.

Good connection in cabin, but speestest say ping of 194, download .50 and upload .10

 

Those are some pitiful numbers, especially the upload - scope certainly won't work at those levels.

Sitting in Boleros, somewhere off the coast of Cuba. No rain but still windy. Internet connection is good, but speed is abysmal. Here are some pics of our cabin.

 

 

We thought we had to put our seapass in the light switch, but it turns out that any card will work.

 

 

The slider says that air conditioning won't work if door is not locked, but that is not accurate.

 

 

There is also a child lock on the slider for those worried about safety.

 

 

The TV is really big.

 

 

Balcony is small, but chairs recline and our cabin steward brought us a foot stool. We also have the tall table.

 

 

Some of this is probably unique to these new cabins added during last drydock

We have mixed feelings about the cabin location. It's perfect for laying out on deck 12, but I think we prefer the aft elevator.

Like I said earlier the Samsung TV is huge and has lots of HDMI inputs

 

 

It also pulls out from the wall to adjust the view.

 

 

Lots of storage.

 

 

 

 

Desk and mirror is not very spacious

The bed was definitely firm, and they have no egg crates. Our cabin steward did add some pads, or duvets and it was fine.

But she passed on it in favor of Peach Martini. She made the right choice. [emoji6]

It was originally scheduled for 10am on day 3, but they moved it to today. In VCL so you could go to DL and get a coffee.

John, are these the prices if you just buy a single device package for one 24-hour period?

 

On other ships, people are reporting $13 per day for surf and $18 per day for stream for one device, but these prices are if you buy for the entire cruise.

 

There were several packages available to bring price down. I don't recall the details.

We were in 1804 earlier this year and there was quite a bit of wind noise. We also noticed a lot more creaks and groans from the ship structure. Are you experiencing similar noises in your room? I'm curious as we were very front and center...

John, what deck is your stateroom, and is it forward? We are sailing Sunday on FOS and we like aft, so we are on deck nine, the same as last Sept. On FOS but we were port side and this time starboard. Thanks for the nice pictures you are posting.

Tell Laura to order a Bellini if she likes Peaches in the CL. They are great.

1890, yes we feel the creeks, but not to bad
