The mattress seemed firm when I first sat on it but we slept very comfortably. There appears to be some sort of mattress topper in it. Unless you are someone who needs the bed to be very, very soft then you should be fine.

Thank you for the feedback, and thank you also to Project Gal (Sue).

From reading the thread, it looks as if Sylvia is still the Michaels Club Concierge. Could you let me know who is Maître in Luminae?

Maitre d is Laurance, but she, Victor, Maggie and the chef all go home after this current cruise, some of the others went home yesterday so Luminae will have a big change over during Feb

Your posts and detailed photos of the paperwork are very much appreciated. Your sunrise this morning was stunning.

Sylvia in Michael's Club should have 5x7 cards with a list of the special Michael's Club musical events that are going to occur. If you happen to get there and get one, you could photograph that too. Thanks so much and enjoy your great cruise!!!

It changes from cruise to cruise with some nights being 5,45 to 6.30 and some 6.45 - 7.30 or 7.45-8.30 it just depends where the performer is being scheduled elsewhere on the ship. There was something on every night from Day 2 apart from the night we had an overnight. The changing times were good and meant everyone, regardless of dinner preferences had a chance to hear something sometime

She introduced herself last night but I can't remember her name. She is French. We'll be there again tonight though.

I have kind of a big favor to ask.

Could you ask the Michael's Club hostess for a copy of the Luggage Valet sign up form and then post it on here?

Lots of people are very excited about this but there are also lots of questions about price, airlines and time parameters.

THANKS!!!

Wonderman3,

Enjoying your posts. It is reliving for me our recent Jan 2-8 trip on Eclipse in a Sky Suite. We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed our Luminae meals with Floyd, Victor, Maggie and Laurance making it very special for us. We know the latter 3 are so looking forward to seeing their families soon.

Our Michael's Club time was enhanced by the hard work of Sylvia, the Hostess, and the delightful Kay at the bar.

Your Suite looks wonderful and your pictures and info of all your experiences will certainly be a help to those boarding soon. You a whetting their appetite for the fun to come!

Be sure to spend some time at the Hot Glass shows, especially in the evening when the lights and colors are even more spectacular! The onboard glass artists are a ton of fun and very talented!

So today was a pretty laid back day at sea for us. After breakfast in our cabin, Carol went off for a manicure, pedicure, and hair styling at the spa for a few hours. Mike and I did a stroll around the ship before winding up at the casino where I won that jackpot I posted earlier. Tina and Barbara spent the morning relaxing in the Sky Lounge but said they got chased out of there by a loud art auction. Cindy and John spent a chunk of the day relaxing at the Solarium. In the mid-afternoon Mike, Carol and I headed back to the cabin and just chilled out for the rest of the day. George delivered some snacks later in the afternoon (cheese, cookies, small sandwiches). As has been mentioned on this board, he advised us when meeting him that tea service with the snacks is now served in Michael's Club but we had the option of having the snacks delivered to our room if we wanted. We asked him to just make that an automatic afternoon thing.

For dinner we went our separate ways tonight. Mike, Carol and I ate again in Luminae, Tina and Barbara did the early seating in the MDR and Cindy and John did select dining in the MDR. We had Floyd again as our waiter. Menus are attached below. Shown are a salmon mousse accompaniment, Maine Lobster Salad, Roasted Squab, Cote de Boeuf, sorbet palate cleanser and Chocolate Palet dessert.

After dinner we headed to the casino for a couple hours but no wins unfortunately like earlier today.fcda0cc03c2458e624795a34e1d0b8cf.jpgc6700f95a7cc9c712d6f4965b3196f3d.jpg2cea09837c198dcb15803bf1aa3b1d00.jpg4f0e15b435978a1aa51a6b6e69511df3.jpga9c616fb4868a6ee6ffa1f72a41b1ee0.jpg3f7bebb26fa71de0e9506e41a1a9c891.jpg

Thanks so much for all the wonderful details! Definitely enjoying your post as we will be on the Eclipse at the beginning of April.

If possible - it would be wonderful to have pics of the daily MDR dinner menus. I know they are posted outside the dining room each day - or perhaps your traveling companions could snap a pic or two when they are partaking of their evening meal there? If not - I totally understand - but just thought I'd ask in case it wad possible.

Thanks so much!

Looking at your photos I think we may have been seated next to you in Luminae this morning.

We're enjoying the service very much. I've found Maggie (sp?) to be the best sommelier we've ever had on an X cruise ship.

Yes, we are not big wine drinkers but we will sometimes order something just because she is so pleasant.
