nomad098 Posted August 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Just got on the NCL Star and with the new all inclusive package for the Brits you do get a 1L bottle of water for each guest in the room didn't realise though that they would deliver all the bottles at once for the week lol[emoji1] Sent from my SM-G955F using Forums mobile app
Rare KeithJenner Posted August 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I was wondering whether they would stick to that when the numbers of bottles get that high. I'm just glad we didn't book our current cruise (15 day cruise with three in the room) under all inclusive. :)

Scatterbrain42 Posted August 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Looking forward to my 32+ bottles of water. I do wonder how that compares to the 1x 0,5liters for gold or higher states.. seems kind of silly to give all cabins so much water for free now and then just 1 little bottle :) Also once all bookers are on the all inclusive program that would mean 128000 bottles of water on a 16 days trip on one of the bigger ships. I guess the only good news is that they don't need to store them somewhere since they 'store' them in the rooms :) Daniel.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just stuck my hand in the fridge and can confirm the inside of the fridge is probably a little bit warmer than the room[emoji33] Will have a word with the butler but not the end of the world. Would prefer to have the bottle put on the room cards Meet and Greet tommow will ask if possibly NCL would do this in the future Sent from my SM-G955F using Forums mobile app
Rare shof515 Posted August 20, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 20, 2017 all of those water bottles does not like environment friendly ..i thought NCL and other cruise lines is trying to be "green" with the environment.
cb at sea Posted August 20, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Bring a refillable bottle, and fill as needed! The ship's water is the same stuff as what's in those bottles...WATER! H2O....that's all!

Scatterbrain42 Posted August 20, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 20, 2017 all of those water bottles does not like environment friendly ..i thought NCL and other cruise lines is trying to be "green" with the environment. Well most people ordered this anyway, not sure if the number of bottles will be more or less. I do assume they recycle them given the very strong rules for cruiseships on this topic. The free water will be a $50 to $75 perk for many people on a 2 week trip. Daniel.
casofilia Posted August 20, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 20, 2017 "Free Water"? How much more expensive is "All Inclusive" compared to the "normal" fare?
PelicanBill Posted August 20, 2017 #15 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Goodness there is scare enough tabletop space as it is! I would have to stuff then in a suitcase under the bed, where I would forget them. If they replaced day by day then they would not waste any. If you did not drink them, no need to replace. dumb. Some of us can taste the difference in the water. Tap water is not tasty. Restauant water is ok, not sure if different, but iced down it does not taste bad. I dislike Aquafina... it's purified river water. I prefer actual spring water which tastes "right" to me.
CazV Posted August 20, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Seems to me they didn't think this all inclusive thing through with regards to the inclusion of bottled water. I didn't even use all of mine. And in answer to the question above about the price difference... that water is very expensive!
Scatterbrain42 Posted August 20, 2017 #17 Share Posted August 20, 2017 "Free Water"? How much more expensive is "All Inclusive" compared to the "normal" fare? Its not a option anymore so we will never know same as with the 18% room and 18% on top of the ubp gone. My guess is NCL will make more or break even its to hard for me to compare the TA i did last year on the epic and this years on TA on the getaway but my gut feeling without the room charge each day and things like not paying for water ( normally aim for 2 liters a day) its about the same but as you know its not easy to compare prices. fshagan Posted August 20, 2017 #18 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Bring a refillable bottle, and fill as needed! The ship's water is the same stuff as what's in those bottles...WATER! H2O....that's all! Your reflexive post is out of place on this thread. This water wasn't asked for, it is part of the OP's "all inclusive" package. Plus, that water is missing some ingredients .... like chlorine.

Agreed what i think is very funny if you have say gold status you will get for example 32 bottles of water because well you are a 2 people :) and 2x 0.5 liters of water because you are of level gold Seems kind of weird. Guess they need to work on the details.. I think what they should do is 'fill up' your room by a max of 2 bottles a day (but thats work for the steward). Daniel. Highpeaklad Posted August 20, 2017 #20 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Do people really drink that much? We got 18 bottles delivered on our first day and had 13 left at the end of the 9 days.
