Got a email from Princess Players Club with ridiculous low rates.

Play enough and they’ll notate your account so you get 45% off the displayed rate on princess.com plus all of the available incentives currently advertised, if any, (OBC, pre-paid gratuities, etc.).

Just saying, play more and you’ll get rewarded....

Thanks, I had better hit the casinos on Sapphire and Royal next year then, become a High Roller.:p

I toyed with the idea of doing b2b cruises. But we'll stick with just the 10-day cruise on the Royal on Dec. 10. We could add 8 days on the Crown or 7 days on the Regal before our cruise for under $500 for the two of us including taxes (but not gratuities).

I'm still amazed that we qualified for this rate. And I had forgotten that I had added the American Express offer to my card. That knocks down my price by another $100. I got the email right after applying the payment over the phone. Since we used our Future Cruise Deposits, we're both getting $50 on-board credit. I'll get an additional $100 for my Carnival Corp. stock, and we'll get $25 additional for our loyalty level. All those combined will almost cover our automatic gratuities.

It's legit. Just booked. 99.00 pp plus tax for 5 nights. Hard to say no to that as we drive to the port. Hubby plays tables but not a lot.

Forgot to mention. It's a balcony on Aloha deck

We play in the casino for hours each day of the cruise.....never received the offer....is there a code that's attached? If so, maybe I can call to see if we qualify?

No code. Offer is tied in to your Captians Circle number

No code, sorry. The offer is given to some not to everyone, sorry! If you haven't received an email stating that you're eligible for the casino, you won't qualify. It is marked on your Princess file.

Besides, this kind of offer is extremely rare... In 7 years of cruising with Princess, I've never seen anything like it.

I'm beginning to think that is the problem. Many many folks report getting an offer after hardly playing. Maybe the regulars don't get the offer as they don't need to be lured into the casino.

Then you have to hope for an intense hurricane season that gets a lot of publicity,

and makes people in the US think that the entire carribbean has been destroyed.

And you need good timing.

Hardly anyone remember princess being fined for discharging oil.

In a few months, they will forget about hurricaines, too...

I think you are right. I play just enough to qualify for the VIP offers and didn't get the offer. Hubby plays small amounts of $$ on the PokerPro machine and doesn't play slots or the other table games. Prior offers came to me but they targeted him for this one. Still doing some arm-twisting to see if I can convince him to book one of the dirt cheap December cruises.

As others have said, codes won't get you anywhere. However, in case you think that you missed delivery of an email, simply log into Princess.com and check the fares for some of the cruises like the 5 day 11/13 Crown Princess one to see if crazy low fares appear (for this one you'd see $49 inside PP). If it's there, then you're eligible.

I signed in, and get the fare.

I haven't haven't spent more than 5 minutes in the casino in the past 5 years.

But, some of the posters who will be on this cruise (not ones in this thread), makes one want to think twice.

Great for you! It's $349 pp on mine.

The princess site is really confusing. (and/or broken)

When I logged in, both crown and royal 5-day cruises were listed at $99/balcony.

Selecting the cruise, and clicking "show"

...showed "Balconies from $349"

...so at first I thought -- looks like the $99 is sold out. Time to give up.

Went back a second time.

Clicked the "Balconies from $349", and was shown the aft balconies at $99.

I guess it was a good thing I came back.

No email. No casino. No nuthin'. And both ships available.

All I can think is there are going to be a lot of people on those cruises

who paid a 'normal' fare who are going to be really, really cranky.

If Princess drops the fare for casino players, that shouldn't hurt the feelings of

other people much. Most people assume the cruise line is going to win

the discount back in the casino...

But this? I looking forward to cruise CRITIC living up to its name.

I'm already livid for those people! :)

We are light blackjack players, and got the $49/pp for a single 5-day Western Caribbean itinerary in November. I assume it’s tied to the hurricane damage. Sadly, I can’t get the time off work.

Here is the offer, tied to my Captains Circle number

Reference promo code: ULR/ULS/ULT, campaign code: PE7MD249B and member number X

I just discovered Royal 10 day, 12/20 (included christmas) $499 obstructed balcony; $599 balcony.

There must be some folks who paid 'normal' prices for this cruise, and will be really, really cranky.

There were several Caribbean cruises in November and December with low fares initially but most are gone including the December 10th 7 day Regal sailing that I was hoping to book. That one had $299 PP fares for mini suites. DH was dragging his feet on deciding and mini suites are now $899 PP. I guess it wasn't meant to be for us this round.

Really interesting that I got the offer. We have not cruised Princess for 6 years and, at most, I spent maybe $100 at blackjack. (However, we do have a big Princess cruise booked next spring.)

Can't do any of these cruises, but it would be nice to similar offers in the future :) Have fun, those of you who were able to take advantage of it :)

The 5 day on the Crown 11/13 is not selling well. Not surprised they are doing anything to try and fill the ship. We are not gamblers at all. Don't even know how to play a slot machine. After hearing about all these deals, maybe it is time to learn. Would you have to play more than $50 for a week?? I'd rather eat or drink that $50!! LOL :tropical-drink::cocktail::beer-mug:

So I just got an email earlier from Princess Players Club offering rates as low as $49 per person for 5 nights on either Crown or Royal Princess (not per night, but for the entire sailing).

I was just reading a 'trip report' on a BVE -- which costs $39 for a few hours.

For $10 more, one could have five days!

This can't be good for the CCL share price.
