Once everyone gets a microchip inserted behind their ears, there will be no need for cards or lanyards. Fix cheating on drink packages too.

I swear if Princess Cruises puts a hole in my cruise card on the Diamond Princess on the 11th January then I am going straight to reception to ask them to print a new card because I do not like the hole in it.

Dont you have more exciting things to think about first day of a cruise, then a stupid hole in a card[emoji32]

I agree BRIS. Keep it in your pocket.. Easy to find & use. On a cruise your not carrying around much. when lining up at bar you just reach in & grab it.. Plus i hate people staring at me checking out what colour/Level i'm at..

No joke, I really want to see what their reaction will be and find out if they will print me a new cruise card without a lanyard hole in it. I think it would be funny to try.

 

 

 

I am not a fan of the lanyard brigade on the ships anyway and find pockets do a better job.

You can still put your card into your pocket with the lanyard hole punched into it, don’t you think? Surely you are just being pedantic for the sake of annoyance.

Also, I think the Cruise cards come pre punched from the manufacturer.......

Unless they've changed card suppliers or changed the specs for supply, no, they aren't pre-punched. Have had to ask for the hole to be punched when replacing faulty cards and a couple of times when initially supplied at check-in. I don't keep the card around my neck for the whole cruise, but it can be handy at times.
