Congratulations!  The 2 bedroom aqua suites are amazing.  I will never be the same after sailing in one.  Appreciate it and take it all in!!!

I’ve been in Norwegians Garden Villa 3 bedroom twice I am already spoiled lol

I hoped you would get it!  I totally know how you are feeling, I was giddy like a child when I received the same upgrade.  Like others have said, the 2 bedroom ATS is amazing! Enjoy it and do take some time on that deck to appreciate it..... I feel like it just went by to quickly 😭

Congratulations !  Nice pick-up !

 

I recommend that you do NOT call and cancel your grats.  Let the Genie take care of this for you.  You do not want to do anything to disrupt your booking.  The Genie will make sure you get your money back in any form that you want.

 

Have a great time.  This is a wonderful bit of luck for you !

Absolutely they should. If you do not hear from your Genie by tomorrow I would definitely contact the ship directly but I have little doubt that your Genie will get on this ASAP. They have a lot of coordinating to do with you in a very short period of time. This is such an exciting time for you. Enjoy all of the pre-cruise stuff. It’s all part of the excitement package !

On a side note to the cancelation of services after an upgrade via Royal Up. What happens if you've bought an internet package but win a room that comes with it? I see on the planner so many days are needed to cancel an item before the trip. I also have a gty suite so I could be a junior or grand and different star levels once my room assignment is made. Same circumstances though.

If you find that you are upgraded to a Sky class and have time to cancel prior to sailing, I would probably go ahead and do so, as if you want until you get onboard you will most likely be refunded as OBC....which isn't a problem (you can still get the cash if you don't use the OBC) but if you are upgraded to a Star Class I would definitely let your Genie handle it.

 

If you do not have time to refund prior to sailing and you are upgraded to Sky class, I imagine that the Suites Concierge will be helpful in getting your pre-cruise purchases refunded, but it is likely to be in the form of OBC.

Just wanted to repost my experience for folks.  I agree that the Genie's can take care of things so if you get upgraded to STAR, no worries. 

 

We got upgraded from Sky to STAR (Symphony) in April.  It came through Thurs morning and we were cruising Sat.  I was super worried that I would not get refunded for my 2 adult drink pkg, 2 childrens bev pkg, and BOGO.  I did not want it to be an OBC because I already had a good credit from our TA and all of our excursions were booked privately. I canceled in the planner and received a refund on my credit card.  As folks mentioned, Genie could definitely take care of it for you if you upgrade to STAR but I hadn't known that so processed it myself.  Just another option for those of us with slight 'control' issues.  :classic_rolleyes:

Just got an email that my bid was canceled 30 days bc I got my gty suite assignment during the night. I was assigned a Grand Suite and I can go back and bid on rooms again, but I see grand suite is an option at 400 a person and crown loft at 800 a person. That is the same as it was the first time I bid.

I thought they didn't start sending the Royal Up offers until 30 days before the cruise.  We are sailing in August should we start watching for an email?
