mediator Posted May 24, 2019 #2351 Share Posted May 24, 2019 Sailing on Monday, Mariner. ..no acceptance or rejection of bid. At this point I almost hope I don’t get it as I have two other cabins secured next to each other connecting. Thought it would be a nice treat to have the grandkids in a two bedroom. So we keep the 3 cabins originally booked.

Let the Genie take care of this for you. You do not want to do anything to disrupt your booking. The Genie will make sure you get your money back in any form that you want. Have a great time. This is a wonderful bit of luck for you ! I took your advice and did not call to cancel my gratuities. Instead I emailed the genie and she told me to contact guest services that money should go back to cc I used to pay it

Kinda lame when they could take care of it for you but either way, you're not paying gratuities (directly, anyway !), so YIPPEE !!!!
Redsonya37 Posted May 25, 2019 #2359 Share Posted May 25, 2019 Put another royal up bid after it was canceled when my GTY suite cabin was given yesterday, and I just got another email saying my bid was canceled. Anyone know why this is? I'm 29 days out
jptoz Posted May 26, 2019 #2360 Share Posted May 26, 2019 Rci sent me a royal up offer at 80 days out, and 2 more between then and now (47 days out). I think they really want my room. LOL

shibby sails Posted May 26, 2019 #2365 Share Posted May 26, 2019 I am all paid up, sailing solo on Mariner. Just got the Royal up offer. If I bid and it gets accepted will I have to pay for two people even though there will be only one in the room.

Who needs one if you have to do it yourself? Hopefully, she is outstanding in all other aspects but this is a negative start, imo. goodml Posted May 27, 2019 #2368 Share Posted May 27, 2019 We sail Friday on Navigator. We just booked on May 5th and got the Royal UP email about 5 days later. We currently have a deck 8 aft balcony. I had been looking at cabin availability for a couple of days and that one suddenly showed up in inventory (maybe someone else got a Royal Up accepted 🙂 ) so I grabbed it. The offer was for Jr Suite, Grand Suite, and 2 br suite. At the time there were a bunch of Jrs and an owner’s suite showing in inventory. I bid on the grand and the 2 br and I expect to get my decline notice on Thursday. Within a couple days of the email the ship has steadily been showing as sold out. mediator Posted May 27, 2019 #2369 Share Posted May 27, 2019 We are sailing today, almost out the door. Received notice last night at 7pm that my offer for 2 bedroom grand was declined. So we'll have to rough it in 3 balcony Cabins.

CruiseWendy Posted May 27, 2019 #2371 Share Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) I never received a RoyalUp email for my July 21st Harmony of the Seas booking so today I checked to see if I was eligible and I am! Currently I am booked in a CL as I was successful in upgrading several categories at a reduced fair when final payment was due. So I will not be bidding. Thought you'd like to see the options available. Edited May 27, 2019 by CruiseWendy
