AMEX bonus offer is back

FYI: Just paid my AMEX bill and there was an offer for Worlds Leading Cruiselines spend $500 and get 10,000 bonus points. I prefer the spend $$ get $$ back but I’ll take bonus points too.

Used it today for final payment and within minutes got an email from Amex confirming the point credit. Agree, would much rather have the statement credit like the last offer but I'll  take it!

Is there a back door to add it to your card this time?  DH AmEx Platinum has it but my Amex Delta does not.  No problem adding to the second card when we had a link last time.

We just used it on each of our cards. Every little bit helps. Last cruise, it was offered twice before final payment and we were able to use it each time

I just let mine expire, but I got the money offer, and this time I had the option of which card I wanted to add it to,  Usually it comes for the green card, but this time I had the option of green card or Optima.  I chose Optima.  EM

Excuse my ignorance, but I don't understand how points are used.  We only have FF miles but have now gotten a card where we get points.  Is it, for instance, so many points per dollar of reservation?  And, if so, where do you get that info - from the airline, hotel, restaurant, etc. or from the credit card?

The offer I see when I looked at my Amex account is for $100 statement credit by using an enrolled card to spend $500+ on cruise line sailings with HAL, etc. by March 31st.  Nothing about points.   I have the Amex Blue Cash card.  Does anyone know if  a purchase of $500 shipboard credit would work for this promo?

By the way you can purchase $500 in Casino Chips as well.    The casino will give you $500 cash when you get on board.

I looked all over benefits.   Again,   not everyone gets the link depending on their card.  I have Bonvoy (Starwood) Amex.

Can someone please post the link.  Some of us will be indebted to you if you post the link.

See my prior post.    Buy $500 in casino chips.    Amex will credit you $100.   When you get on board go to the casino cashier and they will give you $500 cold cash.  No strings attached.

Not a bad idea. Thought about that but I don’t know if I want that much cash to carry around. But for $100 it’s worth it!

No luck using the link either, still doesn't show up in my offers. Did you have to chat with somebody to have it added?
