Nertz.

To anyone late to the party please post and I will crunch the numbers manually

Or you can start a new poll and I can hide this one.  Whatever you like.

Why is the follow up email honoring the price important?  If you purchased the package, received an email confirmation at time of purchase and the package is still shown as purchased in your cruise planner, why do you need the email?

There are enough screen shots of the letter floating around social media  that RC cannot back track.

A good poll question would inquire how many weeks/days were bought at $18

Got if for 4 of 8 2020 cruises for 35 nights of DX, but I'm probably going to end up cancelling 7 nights of cheap DX.  Bought it anyways in case I don't cancel that one.

Other 2020 cruises didn't offer the cheap rate.

Also, have you purchased a deluxe drinks package previously at a ‘normal’ price?

I have before for a 7 night @ approx 45 Euro per day. Have a 10 nighter coming up in 2020 and that was going to be too much of a spicy meatball to justify .... until July 1st 😉

People just want extra proof in case they have any issues once they board.

Isn't your email confirmation the same thing?

Yes, I was just responding the question that crusinthrough posted, If you purchased the package, received an email confirmation at time of purchase and the package is still shown as purchased in your cruise planner, why do you need the email?

Thanks, i am the one who asked the question.  I was replying to your response  I just don't see the big deal about the email.

Maybe something to do with being booked in GBP?

No, apparently some people got it for £11 on the UK website, not on our cruise though.

We are not drinkers... Typically, while not on a cruise, I have maybe 4-6 drinks a year, if that! My DH drinks less than me.  On a cruise we bring our 2 bottles of wine and half the time we don't even open our second bottle.

I bought the $18 special because it was less than the Refreshment Package and now I can try some of the drinks I never felt the need to buy before. Maybe, but doubtfully, the deluxe package will look more appealing to me in the future.
I bought packages for 2 cruises. Booked my cruise through a TA, booked the package from the Cruise Planner, all letters came to my email

Cruises booked - 11 night and 5 night

We have it for 30 nights across 3 cruises.

Our January Mariner didn't have it. The March TA is STAR, dont need it, and our December Arabian Coastal had it, but I waited to long to decide.  When I tried to get it, it showed $18, but it was over $1,000 in the cart. Sometime around 10pm Eastern
