If we buy the stock today, can the benefits be applied to current bookings?  Also, if we used a TA, do we just contact them once we have the stock?

You send the information direct to Carnival.  It's supposed to be sent in 3 weeks prior to sailing.

I have send the information on last minute cruises less then 2 weeks and got the share benefit. You have to fax it. I  check up to make sure it is applied .

When you book a back to back try to book it separate if it is cheaper to do so, otherwise you get only one credit instead of 2.

How do you check to see if it has been applied or not?

All,

I have two questions for those of you with CCL stock.  My husband has maybe 60 shares of CCL in an IRA account.  If he purchases an additional 40 shares outside of the IRA account, will CCL accept the combined shares from two separate accounts (owned by the same person) as OBC eligible?  I make the HAL cruise reservations and my husband is always listed as the second passenger in the cabin.  Would we still qualify for the OBC since I am the first person listed on the reservation and he owns the stock?

Thank you.

That’s  exactly what we are doing for our upcoming cruises.  Since it’s not a Collector cruise it is classified as two.

I do not know about the combined stock in two accounts.  Call CCL and ask.

It does not matter who is the first person on the reservation, but you can only get one credit per cabin.  Just off a cruise where I used the CCL in my IRA and the cruise listed my DW first.

I don't see why not. It only states that 1 person has to own at least 100 shares to qualify for the OBC. But as someone stated you'd be best to call CCL and get a clarification.

This depends on the length of the cruises...

Two 7 day cruises = $100 + $100 = $200

One 14 day cruise = $250

(Correct?)

Correct.

However two 14-day cruises = $250 + $250 = $500
One 28-day cruise = $250.
You always have to do the math, and compare it to the price of the cruises booked as one or as separate cruises.

Just bought 100 shares today.  On the link above it notes that the OBC "cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account."  I can understand the casino concern but wonder why the OBC can't be used for gratuities?

They allow it for the daily hotel service charge.
