Boomhower's Livish Elation Trip 11/16/19-11/21/19

Awwww my favorite ship as it was our honeymoon in May, 1998.  She was brand new back then, had I think 5 sailings before our trip.  Great ship!

Great review so far! Sailed Elation out of Jacksonville last year and really enjoyed the smaller ship. Enjoy your cruise. Following along.

The Elation is my favorite Fantasy class ship...have sailed her three times I think...once out of PC...then San Diego...then Jacksonville!  Your pictures are great...thanks for sharing!!

It’s cruise day! Packed up and having a light breakfast, plan on having a guys burger by 1130.

I live in south Florida and woke up to a chilly 64 degrees this morning so I can imagine it's cold up there, but hopefully sunny!

And we are off.  We will find somewhere close to the port to chill at. Motel is definitely a no go. It was clean but that’s all it had going for it.

And through security and at the priority waiting area.  Literally no line at all, just rolled on in. Smooth as it could possibly be.  Stuck that photo of the breeze as the elation couldn’t be seen from the entrance.

Boarding pushed back,  now saying 1110.  They have free wifi but it’s getting hammered.

We got the room for me but I won’t spend much time there. I spend the days on the Lido and evenings in piano bar or casino bar. However my wife spends a good time in there and I’m sure she will enjoy the views.
