I forgot about that MASH reveal!  Thanks.  Considering Charlie watches every episode you would think I would have remembered.
Dani, thank you for your great memory.  Today I couldn’t even remember the type car my daughter has and she lives here!!!!!!

I remember that MASH episode.

We have been having trouble even remembering our grandsons age and birthdate.  We both stand in the TSA line trying to remember each time.  Think I will write it on my hand next time. 🤣

I got some sad news a few minutes ago.
Ny dear 98 year old friend Ginny got back yesterday from Pennsylvania where she was staying with her daughter.
Her daughter was recovering from surgery and Ginny flew up to take care of her.
She was there more than a month, and enjoyed the grands and great grands.
Photos were posted on Facebook of Ginny in a backyard water balloon fight.
Last night, home in her own bed, she got up to go to the bathroom and forgot she left her suitcase between her bed and the bathroom.
Yep! She tripped over it and broke where the ball fits into her hip socket.
The orthopedic group and other doctors are trying to decide what to do.
At her age, surgery is especially risky, but Ginny has been trotting up and down stairs, dancing any time there’s music,

and enjoying life in general.
Her only signs of age are macular degeneration and having a harder time reading the dice.
We are not ready to lose Ginny.
And  really not ready to have her lose her zest for life.
Please send up a prayer that she won’t lose her quality of life and can heal from this.
Mimi

Sending prayers for your friend Ginny.

My son and DIL have been marrieds 13 years, and were never able to take a honeymoon.  They have been able to get away for trips with family or friends, but never themselves.

So with us watching our grandson, they were able to fly off to Cabo, just the two of them.  I am glad they were able to get away.  It looks like I taught him well.

He has sent me drink pics

I hope you are home and feeling better now.

The air quality in this heat is horrible.    I couldn't believe I saw a jogger go by our house about 1 hr ago.     Shouldn't they wait until cooler in the evening or first thing in the morning ?

I normally do not have the AC on even in this weather because having Raynaud’s disease makes my legs feel very cold .However, after this morning I have had it on since I have been home.

Thank you for your concern ,Debbie.

Please keep us posted.    Hopefully all is good with the test results your cardiologist will review with you.

Sunday sounds like it will be an amazing day.    Is the party indoors?

They are calling for Sunday to be worst heat than what we have now.

Does it really make a difference if it is 102 or 105?

The party will be outside. My daughter and son in law rented a tent and chairs. There will also be people on the deck which is where Toby and I will be .Some people may be indoors. It is an afternoon party.

To the cocktail shakers on the board, there is a very interesting program called Mix Hour on Hungry Channel. I thought about Greg and Deb, so posted it here. Edited to add Debbie! How did I leave you out! 😁

ADORABLE. Tell us about the name more?

Mochi was 8 months old when my son adopted him.  He was so white, soft, fluffy and squishy, kind of like the sweet Mochi dessert.  So that's where the name came from.  I had a chance to eat the dessert in Izumi on a recent cruise- the Navigator but I was too full to eat it.  Son says he's finding a lot of people naming their dog Mochi now.

For our day, today, we decided to buy our grandson a bike, and teach him to ride.  They don’t have many places to ride where he lives, so he never learned.  Like a basic life skill, everyone needs to learn.

After a couple tries, we had some success. Here, we are teaching the proper side of the road, if he decides to bike in the UK. 😀

Then we traveled to @Lionesss’s neck of the woods in Warren, Ohio for a Greek festival.

Now, it is movie time and drinks at our house. No smoothies, colada’s, or daiquiris tonight. This was our quick, easy drink of choice tonight.

I can understand your upset Lenny and know it was a hurtful thing to say even if in jest.

Paulines sister said it was Karma that I had a heart attack.

This was a few years after Accepting over $10,000 off me to pay for a luxury Australia and New Zealand cruise including their spending money.

Graham.

That disgusts me to hear she said it was karma.   Whenever you speak of her she sounds like a nasty person.  Sorry you both have had to deal with that😥

Looks like another amazing day.   Are you sure you don't want to adopt a couple of us for a week or so?   Maybe we can all rotate weeks.😁

He looks like a natural on the bike😀

I think he will be comfortable with it after about a week.

Our other grandson says he is ready to learn to waterski, so we will be watching for a nice, calm day.  We have youth skis, wake boards, knee board, and a board to learn on, so I am sure he will find somethings he likes.

Dani, thank you for your great memory.  Today I couldn’t even remember the type car my daughter has and she lives here!!!!!!

I am a M*A*S*Haholic and probably saw each episode numerous times.  You can view the very last episode shown on You Tube.  The very last episode that was actually filmed was the one about the time capsule.  The finale, the hour long episode was filmed before that one but was telecast last.

@jagsfanHealing prayers to Ginny.  My friend's mother had hip replacement surgery when she was approx.. 100.  Dr. was not in agreement but my friend didn't want his active mother in a wheelchair in pain.  Surgery was successful, she was in rehab a short while and went back to Assisted Living.  She passed away a few years ago at the age of 107 dancing until the end.

I am sure you are talking about taking a kid 24/7 to see if you can keep up.  🤣🤣

It had been a lot of years since I had to run beside a bike. It was easier 30 years ago.

While there is nothing wrong with Viking they are just at the lower end of most river cruise companies in terms of what they offer.  They are one of the biggest and most well known though.

@ourusualbeach   Do you know anything about Amadeus River cruises?   Specifically the Amadeus Silver III?      We got an offer from a local travel group for a river cruise on this ship with a great itinerary.
