Cruise not showing in cruise planner

Recommended Posts

Mine randomly disappear and then reappear the next time I log in. I even still have a May 2021 cruise listed that they cancelled (and for which we've received the full refund) and a July 2021 cruise which they also cancelled and for which we have also received a full refund that is now listed as an "IT non-revenue test cruise". Go figure...

 "IT non-revenue test cruise".

I had one of those, too.  It was an Indy cruise that had been moved to Odyssey and then cancelled.  I called Club Royale (it was a casino comp) and they did some magic and made it go away.  I am still missing my 12 March 2022 SY cruise that went missing yesterday morning.  I can get into all of the cruise planners {that are listed] EXCEPT for those that have been converted over to "My Royal Cruise". I'm still getting the "Interruption" message on those.

For the technically inclined...

Royal Caribbean is using an API to perform the database/user information lookups that provide the underlying information that is displayed, such as on the books list.

Currently, the API at https://aws-prd.api.rccl.com/v1/profileBookings/searchAddGetProfileBookings is not returning results most or all of the time and is instead returning an error; either they're changing the API and screwed up or there's some other issue going on, but the error in my case looks like:

{"status":404,"errors":[{"developerMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","errorCode":"GA-0702","internalMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","userMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","id":"674870fa-e152-41f0-b0e8-a05015a31802","time":1627061639180}]}{"status":404,"errors":[{"developerMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","errorCode":"GA-0702","internalMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","userMessage":"Record with details provided was not found.","id":"674870fa-e152-41f0-b0e8-a05015a31802","time":1627061639180}]}

The query that returns the past cruise information is working.

https://aws-prd.api.rccl.com/en/royal/web/v2/guestAccounts/sailingHistory/G3005499?loyaltyNumber=xxxxxxxxx

And just as an interesting note, the request URL for each looks like a very different implementation or approach to creating APIs.

Anyway, thought some may find it interesting. 🙂

Translated: There's something broken in Royal Caribbean backend API that returns booked cruise information, though other parts are functioning.

(You can view these sorts of details by open the Developer Tools window of your browser while loading these pages, and looking on the Network tab to see the myriad of HTTP requests that get made.

Our one cruise for 2022 isn't showing up; Safari, and since seeing this thread and trying, Firefox and Chrome, all 3 didn't work.

Thanks for starting this thread, by the way. Good to know it's not just me effected.

Richard.
