Jim I was wondering if you could check the prices for a 5 and 6 night package for speciality restaurants. Of course we could book on line at $182.00 and $204.00 respectively, however at this point it is requiring us to pick a date and time for each reservation which we don’t want to do. We have 3 cabins involved and to be frank  it’s a pain in the a** to try and link them. Much easier to speak to someone once we get on board. We are curious if prices are the same.
If you don’t have time it’s okay, don’t worry about it.

I have enjoyed your live blog and looked forward every night to reading all that’s happened for the day, looking forward to the Sept 17 blog.

Norma

Hi Norma,

Hearing you may get a "lilttle" rain tonight --- we have been watching KPIX on YourTubeTV.    Amazing how excited  we can get over a couple hundredth inches (.01) of rain.

I'll ask tonight for sure.

That's the Constellation.

Just signed onto the Pier 66 webcam at sunny.org.  Gotta say that the Connie's paint job looks so much snazzier than the Equinox's.  Guess I'm a traditionalist.

You are correct.    I'm just brain dead.       LOL---- I knew that.   I just brewed a nice espresso to try out the coffee maker.   Actually really good.      I remember looking up Connie's schedule this morning

These were the exact perks that we had as Elite on Silhouette,  except for the Concierge lunch. I was under the impression that was for Concierge class only.😱

Zenith's were always invited to the original Concierge Lunch on embarkation day (that has now been suspended due to staggered boarding).   I've never been to one.     I think the high end Casino members are also invited.

Thrilled to see the Connie in Port Everglades today.  We have 11 night in the PS in November and are relieved to see that she is at least on this side of the pond.  Jim, enjoy that lovely PS.  That is the exact suite Karen and I will be sailing in for our 12 night Hawaii to Vancouver.  I have to say that we are truly spoiled by the M class PS.  I love the totally separate pantry with a full size refrigerator and a separate entrance for the butler so they never need to enter the suite.  And, as you know, nothing compares to the M class PS verandah.  That is my cruise ship version of nirvana.  Enjoy the cruise and hope you get to meet Danny and Gary from Dallas.

I agree that deck on M-Class is wonderful.   Also the Butler's Pantry, full size refrigerator  and even the Microwave.

No --- The notification was posted with the Daily for today.    I'm wondering if you googled whether there would be additional information.

Jim,

One of our fellow CC members sent a link to the site. It looks like the port will be closed until sometime in 2022.

Loving seeing your blogs again - thank you!

What a lot of families have been doing over here is having birthday candles on a banana or cup cake for children to blow out - so they still get the fun but the main cake is “safe”!

How true.    We luckily missed my grandson’s birthday last weekend.   My daughter just texted her Monther-in-Law tested positive after attending and is now in.hospital.

Such a shame they only painted the outside and she didn’t get the revolution 🙁

Being from Sarasota I would love to sail out of Tampa…but not until she is revolutionized.

Oh no, I hope she recovers soon.

She had been a hold out on vaccination but was scheduled for her first shot on 9/19.   I also hope she recovers but have a hard time understanding someone with cancer that refused for so long to get a shot.

I don't want to belittler her but hope others will take head and be vaccinated if they haven't already.

@peanut head  I was wrong ---- Please see reply above and picture.   I just brewed a cup and enjoying it.   the machine uses pods and the coffee is Lavazza.

Thank you for reaching out to me again.  I just informed my husband and he is ready to jump on board now.  I'm jumping for joy b/c I don't have to hear him gripe that we have to call the retreat host, or for me to run to Oceanview, for just a cup or 2 of java.  Yes, I know that's what he/she is there for but really(??) when we get up at the crack of dawn (around 5am) to do our morning run we hate to wake the retreat host up for this.

Jim - Wishing your daughters MIL a full and speedy recovery. My sister in Ft Myers FL is currently recovering at home. Fighting pneumonia but looks like she will be OK. She’s fully vaccinated and that is likely what has allowed her to fight it off without being hospitalized. Without the vaccine we’d likely be planning a funeral. She has many underlying conditions.

A compliment to you from my DW. She appreciated how you phrased your comments about your family member - Sympathetic but still making your point.

Have a great cruise and congratulations on skipping Nassau and getting an overnight in Aruba. You better check they don’t charge you a supplement for that change.

We are on Silhouette 1/24/22 and have overnights in both Aruba and Curaçao. Bonaire was nixed for some reason.
