Ray was on Navigator. Regent has lost a few good CD lately so there are a number of new ones.

He was on our Navigator cruise that ended in Southampton on 7/7. I believe he was leaving the ship then, not sure for how long or permanently.

From looking at the RSSC Facebook page, David Nevin is on the Explorer.

On our Splendor cruise mid March…..we were not overly impressed with David Nevin. And we are originally from Canada.

And we were on Splendor for 2 segments in April and thought he was great!

A talented singer, for sure. We just found him to be not too pleasant.

I enjoyed David very easy to converse with about shows and suggestions.  Always said hi to me and conversed as I was usually in the seats on the right side of the theater where he enters to speak.  But he did say hello whenever he saw me on the ship and asked if I was enjoying some of the shows.

So I assume there are two CD's that rotate for each ship?  And then over the years they rotate among ships as well obviously.  So right now on Splendor, it's either Lorraine Weimerskirch, or David Nevin?  Here's hoping we get the latter in January.  (Mainly because we actually like country music, ha ha.  Actually, unless they're very *bad*, I don't really care much about who is CD.)

I assume the cruise director has a say in the locally booked shows and the flutist, comedian and the Dublin Irish traditional group and dancers were all a hit.  I would say David has a good eye for talent.

They all are, in my experience. I don't blame them for that really, considering that they have to be "on" almost full-time.  That must be very difficult.
