Love following your review.  Hope you're having a wonderful time!

This post got me excited as I hadn't heard of any ship with Laser Tag starting up since the pandemic.  Is it running regularly?  Any extra restrictions?

I will get some details. They offer the event several times for the week.

It seems that Aqua Theater shows have not been working fully due to a damaged hydraulic system.

The Aqua shows have been running at a reduced level due to the hydraulics problem. The pool was empty and workers were fixing the problems.

There is no Aqua show tonight, but we will see if they can get it fixed before the Wednesday night show.

Did someone on staff actually say it was a hydraulics problem? At the Entertainment Staff Q&A last week they said it was a "water clarity" issue. The water is getting cloudy with multiple jumps, making it impossible for the safety team underwater to see what's going on. Without that clarity, they can't safely do rapid fire jumps. This is why they were going to drain the pool in Bayonne.

As far as I could tell, all stage floors were working as intended. But I'm wondering now, maybe they have two separate issues? But a drained pool is a good sign they're at least addressing the cloudiness issue.

Hello everyone and Good Day. Welcome to DAY 3 of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas.

Last night before dinner I was able to watch news for a couple of hours. This forced me to stay awake longer than I normally do. Deck 5 was busy with many passengers enjoying their evening on board. The Globe and Atlas Pub and Boleros were very busy, The Shops on board had a lot of sale items for passengers, and there were several Game Shows on Deck 4 and 5.

I walked out to the Boardwalk area -DECK 6 and Playmakers was very busy with passengers watching College Football. The table were full, and there were sports everywhere you looked. They often play movies in the Aquatheater, but last night passengers didn't seem to be interested in the full-length feature film (Cyrano the Musical) There were only a handful that were watching.

Boleros was very busy and the music was very nice. I liked the "Who wants to feel like a Millionaire" Game Show that was in Spotlight Karaoke on Deck 5. Many of the questions were Royal Caribbean-related, and It was very fun. The contestants won prizes from the Logo Shop.

There aren't too many passengers awake when I get up at Radio Dark30 so it is a nice time to hop in one of the whirlpools on Deck 15. It is very hot and very nice. Casino Royale was open again all night, and it was nice to have my pick of the slots that I favor. There were only a handful of other passengers who were enjoying Casino Royale.

We are scheduled to arrive in Port Canaveral by 1PM. I have been monitoring the arrivals there and Oasis of the Seas has been docking between 12 and 12:30. The gangway is scheduled to open 30 min after we are docked. The time to be back on board is at 8:30 tonight.

I often go to Kennedy Space Center, but since we arrive in PC Late, I decided not to go. The Visitor Center closes promptly at 5, so I will explore the port area today. We are scheduled to dock at CT-1, which is close to food, drink, and some retail areas. Cape Canaveral is less than a mile away, and Cocoa Beach is only 3 miles away.

Tonight is Caribbean Theme night. I didn't bring any Caribbean wear, but it will be fun to watch.

Here are a few pics. thanks for tuning in.

we  usually give our luggage that includes our carry on luggage to the porter.

Yep, for a lot less money, I like to walk on with my purse over my shoulder, easy peasy and since we check in on the first time slot, our luggage is always waiting for us at our door when the halls open.

Google Images is your friend.  😉

Yes, I'm aware, thank you. I wasn't sure how current or ship-specific the menus in the Google Images search were and figure it wouldn't hurt to ask politely. Your condescension is noted, though. 😉

Did it feel like there were 2000 kids on board?

Even though I wasn't there and have no idea what her thoughts on the matter are, I'm going to answer for @Sunshine3601. It more like 40,000.  😄

I'm no kid hater, but 30% capacity being kids?  Yikes!  I'll wait until school gets back in session.

I just got off on Sunday and there weren’t many kids at all. I imagine in the coming weeks there will be less and less.

Thanks so much for your efforts Radio.  We sail Oasis the end of October, our first time on Oasis class.  It's also our first time sailing as Diamond.  Following your posts intently!!   Question:   Is there a sauna or steam room onboard that is no upcharge?

Yep. Currently on my balcony enjoying a blue blue ocean.

BTW, we went to the comedy show last night. If you enjoy adult comedy, it is really good. Notsomuch if you get offended. Not a judgement - just a comment.

This may have been mentioned or suggested. I am sure that this should be correct.

Passenger Count This week 5600. Kids 400

Passenger Count Last Week 5900. Kids 800

This was from the Diamond Concierge Kateryna Ivaschenko.

I was on that cruise and yes, there was definitely more than 2000+ kids on-board. Many (probably 8-10 years old) were unsupervised at night and running through the halls - at least this was the case on deck 12. However, this didn't ruin our vacation.

Good on you for the good attitude.  While this isn't everyone's solution, had it been me confronting this, I would have avoided the issue altogether by finding the nearest open bar!  🍸🤪

I was on the cruise with a million kids also.  Unchaperoned kids on the pool deck and elsewhere.  People were not the most polite.

Just not the pool bar then...  🤣

Thanks so much for the live review! My husband and I will be on the ship on September 25th. We are practically neighbors ! Live off of Magledt between Carney and PerryHall!
Enjoy your cruise! Was it hard to make reservations for the shows and restaurants that you wanted? This is the largest ship we have ever been on. Thanks!

We sailed on Oasis in June (myself, son & granddaughter).  It was their first cruise ever.  My granddaughter was invited by our tablemates to join their son & them at Laser Tag while son & I went to the Escape Room.  They said the line took them an hour to get in.  We looked earlier & it was really long then too.  Be aware it might be just as long for you.

I'm really enjoying your pictures as it brings back so many good memories.  There is a huge difference between sailing with an adult & a child (10).  We went to go in Windjammer for breakfast the first day & the line was so long we went to the Solarium Grill instead.

I need to go again with an adult to do my favorite things.

Thanks for the review.

I would like to view the SpaceX launch tonight as we leave. . . I've been to Port Canaveral 50 times but have never witnessed the launch. . .  Hopefully it is a go tonight.

Been watching her on on PTZtv.  Looks like clouds are rolling in and the wind is picking up.  Enjoy the rest of your day! 😄
