Not just the younger folks, I hear there are lots of upside-down pineapples on Holland America cruises. Those folks know how to party!🥳

Possibly electric scooter key parties too?

There are SO many jokes on this subject that include scooters and other motorized things but I can't post a single one.  😥

But what does it mean when a Pinnacle wears their pin upside down?

I had a pair of pineapple earrings that were apparently a bit top heavy, and I stopped wearing them after a couple of interesting conversations with people.

Aw, come on, you can't just leave it at that.  I always wonder how people approach others on this topic.   It's not the type of thing that just comes up in casual conversation lol.

The Pineapple,  has become a symbol of the tropics.  Most often, it means nothing more.   Of course in the south it is a symbol of hospitality

It's a symbol of hospitality in New England also.  But, not upside down.

Yes, not upside down in the south as well.

Much of the  tropical apparel (clothing, beach bags,  etc)  often has the pineapples  in all directions.

Don your pink flamingo aloha shirt on your next cruise and just wait for the comments that they really like your shirt. Where is goes from there is up to the two of you.
