B2B Luncheon

Definitely yes -- B2B guests and embarking Zenith members of the Captain's Club are invited to join the Concierge Class embarkation lunch.  This has been standard practice for years.  For those who are currently on a ship carefully look at your B2B turnaround letter.

To our knowledge, there was no b2b meeting on Apex for our 12/3 and 12/10 b2b. There was no invitation or mention of a b2b luncheon in the letter we received containing information about turnaround day.

Same overall experience for us - for the B2Bs which we've done since the restart, the B2B meetings have been eliminated - we get paper notices with the information, but no more group meetings.  This very well could be ship specific however, but I'm just saying that we haven't had a B2B meeting since pre-covid.  Also, in all of our 30 cruises with Celebrity, many B2Bs, we've never received an invitation to the luncheon - however, from all that I've read, it seems that you have to be in the know that B2Bers are included in the Concierge lunch - that if you don't already know, they're not going to tell you about it.  That said, it's been mentioned that it is in the B2B paperwork - and if it was, we missed it.

We received this letter, which does not address lunch options. We were aware that b2b passengers were usually invited to both a b2b meeting and the Concierge luncheon. While there for a different reason, I did ask Guest Services if they knew anything about the b2b meeting and luncheon, but they did not. We could have simply turned up for lunch, I suppose, but we assumed that we needed an invitation. This was our first b2b, so the luncheon would have been nice, but not being invited didn’t ruin our cruise experience.

You aren’t really missing anything. It was just ordinary MDR lunch fare from a very limited menu. You ordered everything, including dessert, at one time. Nice gesture. Nothing special. For me, the best part was meeting other B2B folks.

We've always enjoyed the limited B2B menu.

We have always received along with our TAD procedure letter a card inviting us to the consecutive cruisers lunch in the MDR for a TAD lunch. Time and deck.

We’ve enjoyed the menu as Concierge passengers, so we knew what we were missing. We would also have enjoyed meeting the other b2b passengers, a few of whom we had met elsewhere. We didn’t receive an invitation card on our December b2b. We’re booked on another b2b on Apex this summer. It will be interesting to see if our b2b turnaround experience is different.

Ask at the TAD meeting.

If you were in a suite, there was lunch in Luminae.

Not every day.  Not served on port days. However you can have lunch in the retreat. Menu is limited to a wrap, cesar salad and a nice burger with the works.  They come with french fries and chips.  Also about 3 Pm in the retreat lounge you get sandwiches and desserts

Luminae is open on embarkation day so being in a suite, you would not have needed the B2B luncheon as you could have gone to Luminae.

I believe the thread was talking about the “b2b Luncheon”.  And there is a lunch in Luminae on embarkation day.  🙂

While we sail in suites now, on the edge class ships we sometimes dine in the regular restaurants.  Just for a change of pace.  Not crazy about buffets
