This lifeguard saved a life this afternoon. He pulled out a kid that was struggling and went under. Happened very fast. Very smooth operation, almost like they’ve practiced for it, lol. Two other lifeguards came to assist. The supervisor came over to give him a fist bump and let him go change into dry clothes. And he was back at work in just a few minutes.

This must be a south Maine lobster, because it was pretty small

Consider yourself lucky you at least had something resembling lobster.  When Symphony was in Europe this summer, there was no lobster to be had on "lobster night".  It was replaced by shrimp.  Apparently supply issues according to our waiter, although I'm not sure I believe it.

On our sailing, formal night was night 2, and dress your best was night 6.

They did have white night and red night also.

There were quite a lot of people dressed nicely on those nights.  I think it was because of the number of families onboard, wanting nice Christmas photos.

We did get our two free photos.

And I was remarking about always getting digital prints for our free ones.  Not so this time, just prints.

Thank you so much for the info.

Well, sad  to see that this thread is coming to an end.

We've had so much fun following.  We appreciate all

of the photos and reviews you have posted. It has been

fantastic and very informative.

Thank you for taking of your time to do this.

Adding some pics from Nassau. It was a lazy day. I overdid a few things this week and we all needed an easy day. First we walked to the end of Junkanoo beach.

Stayed only about 2 hours and then we started back. Had to stop for a coconut.

And thanks for the suggestion of the pirate museum. The kids liked it a lot.

Back to the ship for some pool and water slides. IMG_4917.thumb.jpeg.5349c3e0d4550d29f4438d963c5c98b7.jpeg

And since the timing worked out, we saw another showing of Flight after dinner.  Great show. IMG_4928.thumb.jpeg.5dbb931d046cedb3050bd7b04e14e63d.jpeg

Now time for a little rant.

What the **** is wrong with people.  Are they such pigs, that they live like this at home?

Followed a trail up the stairs, on the way to the Solarium.

That wasn’t all, but you get the idea.

Several waves goodby as we disembarked

He is anxious to see his other inflatable floatie friends that we had to leave behind.

In the car and headed to do laundry now.

Off the ship at 7:05. Almost to PBI in a pre scheduled Uber. Debarkation went smooth early on. But there were some pileups building. I think it will be a mess later. Lots of families that have never cruised before. There were a ton of people trying to get off early that put luggage out last night. I could tell that the crew were already getting frustrated.

You must have just missed Daryl.  We were walking down the ramp at 7:20.

Safe travels home to you.

We will be on the beach till our Allure cruise in January.  Don’t know if Daryl will go on that one, or not.

Twelve days till that one.

Thanks for a great review Mark (and Dan).  It looks like you, Susan, and Daryl had a good time.  I'm guessing that Daryl won't be much help with the laundry although to be fair, he probably didn't add much to the pile of dirty clothes.  Enjoy the rest of the year with your family.  Merry Christmas!

Thanks for a great review.  I'll be on Symphony in July with family.  Out of all the times I've been to Nassau, never knew there was a pirate museum. Just may be a good thing to do with the grandkids.  Learn something new with every live review.

I’ve enjoyed following along. Isn’t it a great feeling to disembark knowing the vacation continues instead of having to head home? I hope you’ll post some of the family adventure over on Dani’s thread.

BTW, Daryl needs his own fan club 🙂.  First we had Bella, now Daryl!
